In the glorious city of Izhevsk, a new mix from the Right FM collection happened some time ago. Rumors about this recording came through to us from witnesses to the action.

The morning was already very close, at the console of the famous bar "Svet" one could see the faces of Kazan freshman Drill and muscovite Tàgi. The heat of the party was rising and rising, when, like out of nowhere, two more young artists under the pseudonyms Shimmer and Jelly Roads entered the DJ booth right from the dance floor. The power of four was activated: sunlight burst into the Izhevsk "Light" through the speakers and window frames, and the party did not stop for much longer.

Max selected favorite works of contemporary electronic minimalists to build a soundscape through the mathematical accuracy of the musical language. Fragile biological constructions of micro world and technogenic elements existed in virtual reality maintain the focus of Cotton Pills’ audio research. Music is not only his way of self-expression, but the most important means of communication.

This short text is written to tell you about a new record on the waves of Right.FM made by the Saratov artist, musician and DJ Camin' and uncover a little about the author.

In 2015, inspired by the activities of the NII club and the Gost Zvuk label, Vikenty together with the Total Resistance creative community team began organizing events in his hometown and inviting artists from different cities of Russia. While the parties were held, Camin' wrote a lot of music and released it on various cool labels like Kazan's Get Busy, British Opal Tapes and Cong Burn, Odessa's Sistema and New York's Dirty Tapes. The music has depth and groove.

Vikentiy's DJ sets always share a link, some resemblance with his own music, and this does not depend on the genres he uses. A blend of ambient, IDM, dub and breaks awaits us on the link, and we will gladly press play.

Ser Martin is a gem coming from Kazan, who grew up as a selector under the patronage of two Kazan musical meccas – the Werk art center and the Sol bar. After a six-month trip around the Transcaucasia, he revealed his talent as a producer – and now, with a light hand and heart, he adds his own handwritten tracks and remixes to his sets.

Participant in a thousand and one parties of his hometown sent a recording from that same hometown. The record was carefully kept for a long time since a dear and crazy OSM Night party from the summer of '22.

Serezha's recording is a kind of musical two-hour storytelling journey through the musical finds of a particular mood and feeling. It can be said that there is literally everything – booming dub, trance, house (of different calibers), friends' unreleases and undoubtedly voluminous bangers, and something melodic and tender to a number.

Listening to it, you feel at the crossroads of many ghetto directions: post-club, post-reggaeton, electro, 4-To-The-Floor kicks of all sorts with references to music of different times in a new sound. The frost is pouring in, my hands are cramping, I’m not toughened up for this. N passes me spliff, half recorded, puff, split. Deja vu, deja vu, deja vu, 10 percent, sounds of birds, old ringtone, thoughts about the past, roommate is probably sleeping, forgot the keys. 5 percent, I reach out change the synth sorting out the notes. I moved the hood got better vision of the dome where we are all inside. 1 percent, 48 minutes.

«This is a recording from Popoff Kitchen which took place on September, 23 at the Blank Club in Saint-Petersburg. That was the second time I played for Popoff. My first time, as far as I can remember, was in the early spring, when I played in the darkness of a main stage. 

There was no doubt about what to play: I started with my favorite 140 bpm techno. Now guys put me to open the terrace (guys are cool, much love), but it was a little bit boggling because I had no idea what to play from the very booking. Thanks to my fellow djs, who already had experience playing at Popoff, they said “Shit, man, anywhere you play, just remember: these guys like it faster”. 

I took the advice, of course, but did it my way. I thought that I wouldn’t be glad to hear something around 140bpm at the beginning of a party, so I started with 120. Held it for about an hour on 130 and then blew up. It came out really nice and neat.

We danced and even got a little bit drunk, and you can hear it))»

«Это запись с вечеринки Popoff Kitchen, которая прошла 23 сентября в клубе Blank в Санкт-Петербурге. Я у ребят играл второй раз. Первый, по-моему, был в начале весны и я играл в темном помещении на мэйне. 

Там не было вопросов что играть и я играл своё любимое техно сразу под 140 bpm. В этот раз ребята поставили меня открывать террасу (ребята крутые им большое сердечко), но я был немного в растерянности, потому что с момента букинга вообще не понимал что играть. 

Спасибо друзьям-диджеям, которые уже играли у них и сказали «ой не еби мозга, пофиг что терраса, их публика любит побыстрее». Я совет конечно же послушал, но все же посудил по себе и подумал, что я бы не хотел слушать в начале вечеринки сразу 140 bpm и в итоге плавненько разгонялся со 120 ударов. Продержал где-то час на 130 и потом уже полетел. В итоге получилось все лаконично и красиво. 

Мы потанцевали и даже поднапились — в концовке это слышно))»
