It is another song from his "Piano Ten Thousand Leaves" project. The string arrangement is by composer Guillaume Pearson. Watashi No Kokoro translates as My Heart.

George Orwell's Time Machine

The lyric is an extract from "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner" by Coleridge
It is an amazing epic poem. It seems to me that it is an allegorical warning about the unintended consequences of cavalier interference in natural systems. Or it may just be about an old sailor.

All in a hot and copper sky,

Water, Water Everywhere

Always loved the various video game underwater themes, like the ones from Donkey Kong or Sonic. This time I went underwater for exploration, loved it, very cool places to explore there! Have a good one:)

Although inspired by the novel "Cage Of Souls", I found myself reflecting on chess games with my Uncle Peter... As far as my Aunty knew, these games were the only times he ever reflected on his experience as a POW (he was captured by the Japanese army in the second world war). He was a mild and gentle Scot, but his chess was brutal!

Like all who are impassioned, Rightly takes blissful delight in losing himself, in fully experiencing the thrill of surrender. And so he often writes with no desire to think, in an externalised reverie, letting the words cuddle him like a baby in their arms. They form sentences with no meaning, flowing softly like water he can feel, a forgetful stream whose ripples mingle and undefine, becoming other, still other ripples, and still again other. Thus ideas and images, throbbing with expressiveness, pass through him in resounding processions of pale silks on which imagination shimmers like moonlight, dappled with indefinite.
