Turning back has never been an option. With a career that transcends decades, continents, and genres, Jean Pierre returns with his second solo album called 'No Turning Back'. Pakate Records' nineteenth release signifies a real milestone in Jean Pierre's career.

It coincides with his 40th birthday, celebrating a path born in New York, Miami and now Barcelona, where the 12 tracks have been written and produced. After his debut album on Nervous in 2013, the Colombian artist felt the need to put together years on the road and in the studio between parties, records, and live jam sessions into a project that embodies his biggest passion, music, which never made him lose his way. Techno, house, and minimal are blended together with rich breakbeat loops, rumba rhythms, and hip-hop sounds into a 12-track ode to JP's endless influences and contaminations. Featuring collaborations with close friends Natalia Roth, Daniel Orpi, Zamoras, and a first-time appearance on Pakate by Jamie Coins, Hanie, and Casas, the album perfectly represents not just JP's musical ethos but his approach towards life, friends, and society: a meeting point, and never a turning point.

British producer Mark Jenkyns joins Hottrax with two separate collaborations alongside vocalist MIZBEE and Ecuador’s Andre Salmon titled ‘Sirens’. 

Having released on Hot Creations, Suara, Of Unsound Mind, Rebellion, Lost Records and Resonance Records, Mark Jenkyns has unquestionably established himself as one of the most sought after producers in modern day house music. As a DJ Jenkyns is a regular name on the line-ups of Paradise Ibiza, when not making appearances at the likes of The Warehouse Project, Lightbox, Digital, Egg and BPM Festival. 

Snappy snares and a meandering bassline lay the foundation for ‘Sirens’ as it continues to generate an infectious rhythm alongside MIZBEE’s scintillating vocal; luring listeners in much like the mythological creature that inspired the track title. Teaming up with Andre Salmon - who’s released on Repopulate Mars, Leftroom and Resonance - ‘Hey Honey’ is a trippy number complete with a heady groove, chopped-up vox samples and synth stabs that’s destined to inject life into any dancefloor it’s dropped.
