Presenting a live improvised performance from the Argentinian producer and multi-instrumental live looper, Janax Pacha. Spearheaded by Gabriel Epstein, the Janax Pacha project sits at the crossroads of acoustic and electronic expression, utilising instruments such as Native flutes, kalimbas, didgeridoo, percussion, and effect racks. The resulting tribal downtempo sound is inspired as much from dub and ambient music, as it is by ancestral indigenous music of Latin America, building layers upon layers of sound, and compounding numerous centuries of culture into one experience.

With this Full Moon Prayer I want to manifest the intention of cosmic healing at the deepest level possible. Almost two years long I collected songs, tried different ways of mixing and spent time in silence too but finally I am happy to share the second >>La Oriación<< 

It's no coincidence that the second prayer is exactly ready before the september full moon. Because of the proximity to the autumn equinox, exceptionally thin curtains open the doors to the other world. It's the time, when nature supports us with magical mushrooms to understand this world and remember our own nature. With the first edition I received a lot of beautiful messages that the sound journey was a perfect guide for psychedelic adventures. As I feel I have to go more into the direction of sound healing combined with natures medicines, my focus now was to create a healing and powerful soundtrack for these times.

This is a mix of many of my favorite Afro Downtempo tracks, including several of my unreleased edits as well as some classics that I have been playing over the last 2-3 years. 

African music holds a special place in my heart. Whether it be Morocco, Mali, Angola, something inside be resonates with the frequency of rhythms and melodies, and most of all the voices. Without the need to understand what is being said I feel the spirit of so many of these artists in me. 

This mix is a journey through the deserts, jungles, and villages of Africa, featuring remixes and edits of many amazing classic artists such as, Rokia Traoré, Oumou Sangaré, Ali Farka Touré, Fatoumata Diawara, Sonah Jobartah and more. 

Most of popular music in North & South America as well as Europe can have its roots traced back to Africa. The vibrant and diverse cultures of mama Africa have spread around the world influencing cultures in many ways.

This was one of my favorite sets from the summer. We started with a simple cacao ceremony to set intention and open the container for a deep dive inside. The set starts slow and builds to ecstatic moments joined by a full range of live collaboration, all improvised in the moment. Janax Pacha and I have come together with our creative artistic abilities to create this unique and powerfully vibrational experience. Combining the organic and shamanic Live Looping style of Janax Pacha with a refined sonic aesthetic, we are exploring new dimensions of possibilities live sets. This set is completely live and improvised in the moment, feeding off the energy of our surrounding and audience... it is a completely new experience every time.

We performed this set recently together at the beautiful Tree House Tulum, where the jungle meets the ocean under the moon and stars. This music is a pure reflection of our essence as humans and artists, both individually and together. We are mirrors of each other and of you.
