112 years ago today, the RMS Titanic struck a iceberg and sank in the Atlantic Ocean on her maiden voyage, over 1500 people lost their lives and only 705 people survived.

since the disaster, more safety regulations, drills and lifeboats where added to make sure people survived if something like this happened again

18 movies were made about the Titanic, with of course, the most famous one by James Cameron from 1997

the films composer James Roy Horner composed the films beautiful, exciting and suspenseful music, he is a huge inspiration for me

sadly, Horner died on June 22, 2015 after his turboprop aircraft crashed. May he Rest in Piece

May all the ones who stayed behind with love ones, for their family, to those brave men who helped lower the boats and help people get to safety, lost on that tragic night Rest in Piece
