Canadian indie electronic duo @hokimusic  have set about making 2020 their own. Following the release of the captivating "King Of Hearts" EP, Varti Deuchoghlian and Brent McCormick have no intention of slowing down. Their soothing sounds present a desired affront to the challenges of recent times.

"Memories Of Love" is a stirring moment of music, that touches on fleeting recollections and their empowering capabilities. McCormick’s hypnotizing vocals float on a ravishingly beautiful ensemble of melody and atmosphere.

On the remix side Urmet K delivers a more minimal interoperation of Tukan with a classy organic groove version and rolling the groove to finish down this cool release.

'Pillars To Butterflies' is a hypnotic and energetic workout, with its bubbling bassline and haunting pads creating a wonderful soundscape, where haziness meets energy. Some plucked strings add some drama to proceedings while the pads keep up the suspense. A proper peak time gem.

Keeping the energy levels high, 'Sumeria' follows on wonderfully, with a slightly darker slant, where an air of moodiness is added to by its mesmerising vocal. No nonsense solidness with an air of mystery here. Big!
