#6 of the "Pale Fire" album. My first manager took me to a recording studio and I had my first experience with a Neumann microphone, but we only recorded covers, so I was flabbergasted when, a day or two later, he got me an audition at the biggest club in SF and advised me to start with "San Timoteo Sunrise"! My guitar, which never got out of tune, would not get in tune and I was forced to quit in humiliation. My last night in his house, I wrote a waltz song about the biggest question of all. Come mastering time, the lyric tried too hard to be heavy and philosophical, so it became an orchestral instrumental. My goal was eventually orchestral.
