#9 of the "Ecology Corps" album. I had a near romance with the bookstore owner and she invited me to visit her and her husband one weekend and we went stovepipe hiking and I lost my grip and could have fallen to my death but her husband reflexively jumped to my rescue. That gave me a good excuse to turn down any romance (which I wouldn't have done anyway). So you want to be a rock star? My best friend wrote a song about it and he depicted me as a callously immoral hedonist who uses her and then leaves her. When I got back home, I put music to another tough love poem from Doug Getty, but come mastering time, I wrote my own lyric about living without romance until true love finally comes and makes the wait worth it.

I make music in almost all styles including one of my own. I grew up next to the Mojave Desert in orange-growing country and moved to Hollywood twice and then moved to the ocean and organic farming in Santa Cruz. I love Bach...
