I also read that BEFORE Palestrina was Gregorian Chant, so I loved that, too. This is definitely influenced by the reverberating unisons of Gregorian Chant.

But, instead of solo guitar instrumentals, I had a vocal assignment in front of me. My three-ring binder of lyrics without music had a lyric that was a list of metaphysical questions I compiled and asked one of those one-night-in-your-life friends that musicians so often make if she would translate my questions into Latin. When I first moved back home and began my secret classical career, I read that BEFORE Bach was Palestrina, so I included him with the others that I checked out of the library and played him first.
