Pandora's Voyage is the story of the ship sent out to find the mutineers of the "Bounty". I wrote it at the end of June 2013 and it's recorded on a Samsung Galaxy S3 and edited in Audacity.

This song came to be after a discussion with my better half about a writing idea he had, but he couldn't seem to pin it down into a story. When he told me about it, I immediately formed this story in my head about a man, so damaged after his experiences in WW I he could no longer function normally when he came back home to his wife, and the repercussions this had for the life they tried to lead together. So asked him if I could use it for a song, and he said he'd love nothing more.

"In the Halls of Our Fathers", or "Thorin's Farewell" which was it's working title, is a song I wrote shortly after Easter, and I've been editing and revising it ever since. Only now (May 14th 2014) am I happy with how the lyrics turned out. This is actually the very first recording I have ever done of it, done in one take with no editing (which is rather rare for me, as I usually do several takes with a lot of editing before I'm happy with it), so it's practically a live version. I guess I'm just really eager to share it with you all! ^_^

This poured into my notebook while sitting at a café in Dublin today (18th of July 2014) and to make sure I wouldn't lose the melody, I made quick recording on my mobile phone. In spite of it's flaws, I loved how the recording somehow managed to capture the sound of seagulls from outside my window, so I decided to share it in all it's unedited rawness.

This song is based off one from Siri Pettersen's book "Odinsbarn". In the book, only two verses were written (in my version, these are set as the first and the penultimate verse), and I was inspired to write the rest of them! :) (This is a raw recording without editing, and I hope to record a better version once I have the time, but right now this will have to do.)

Although it's all in Norwegian, I hope you can still enjoy it. :)

I recently translated my song Hirka's Bønn to English, and because it's Siri Pettersen's Birthday today (she's the wonderful author of the books about Hirka), I recorded it straight away (in spite of having a really bad cold) to give this to her as a birthday present!

I've always loved this song and wanted to do a cover, but I felt like doing it a bit differently than the Disney version, so I cut out the first bit and my version in minor instead.

I wrote this song after reading Strangely Katie's comic "Counting Stars", and while I am not entirely happy with the recording (please just consider it a lazy rough draft), I wanted to share this today as it's World Mental Health day and this song is about coping with depression.

I'm not completely happy with this recording as my voice is suffering from a cold and there was a lot of noise which was difficult to edit out, but for now, it'll have to do.
