Express Galway drops their first VA of 2021 on April 9th and provide us with an 8-track whopper. This VA features a vast range of styles that linger on the surface of hard techno and features 8 up and coming Irish artists the country is keeping an eye on.
The Express crew (Shane Gleeson, Fiachra Walsh and Thomas Fallon) started off Express in the middle of this pandemic gathering mixes from up-and-coming artists around the country and showcased the talent the emerald isle has to offer. After the page quickly gained followers the talks of venturing into releasing music under the ‘Express label’ quickly piped up over time and it is now finally here.

MOTZ Premiere: Joshua Naughton - The Way Home

Yung Scauldy drops his first highly anticipated Va on June 1st 2021 and provides us with 12 stomping tracks. The Va features a vast array of styles from hard techno to euphoric breaks and showcases 12 up and coming artists from Ireland, and The UK that the underground scene should keep an eye on.
Yung Scauldy an Irish born DJ and Producer started producing from the age of 16. After experiencing the Limerick rave scene Scauldy quickly began to produce and perfect his unique underground sound. After moving to the UK before the Pandemic, Yung Scauldy hoped to pursue his love for music. Despite the challenges produced by COVID-19 Scauldy has continued to produce music and make connections and indeed friendships with other artists. Tho Yung Scauldy has released a solo Ep before this VA brings out the best in himself, his influences and his friends. It is finally here Scauldy Selectz

‘Certified Bangerz 4 Charity’ is Space Collective’s first label release. The V/A consists of 8 tracks well produced by 8 talented artists hailing from all parts of Ireland and Italy.


The aim of this V/A is to raise money for ‘De Paul’ charity as we are in the winter months and it is Christmas time. De Paul help the homeless in amazing ways and we want to help fund them in what they do!

ARTIST BIO: P.RAW.N is a Dublin producer who has been producing for just over 2 years. He takes inspiration from the likes of Vladimir Dubyshkin, Rene Wise and D.Dan to name a few. P.RAW.N has plenty more music on the horizon.

For their third release Keepsakes and Jaded Nineties Raver’s Haven imprint are welcoming young Irish rising rave upstart Tommy Holohan to the label for his debut vinyl release - ‘Skull Crushing Techniques’. Making his name through his residency at the Techno & Cans club night at Dublin’s legendary party spot Hanger, Holohan also showed off his production ability through his dance hit ‘Subaru Impreza’ and his recent EP on Civil Disobedience, earning him support and tips from some of the biggest DJs from across the spectrum, from Mall Grab to Dax J.

The A1 starts the EP off with building tension and experimental textures, leading into ‘Fairy Cakes’ - a certified rowdy breakbeat banger designed to slay the dance floor. ‘Skull Skrushers’ then rounds out the A-side with an earth-shattering kick and hypnotic synth line that will be at home at many grimey basement techno clubs. ‘Ask For Absolution’ kicks off the B-side with more smashing 4-4 and a vocal sample line nodding to the late-90s Birmingham Downwards sound. Finally ‘The Wheat From The Chaff’ rounds off the EP by picking up the tempo and throws clanging kicks, moody reese bass lines and loopy arpeggiators to finish off the up-and-comer’s first vinyl offering.
