'Psycho-Acoustic Principles For The Dancefloor' is a record emancipated from the overload of information that led me spiralling into a schizophrenic over-thinking lately in my music. 'Outsider' has a pureness of confidence which celebrates the last 10 years of isolation away from the European scene, while contained just under its surface is a sense of melancholy which points to the paradox within myself. I believe effective dance- music plays with these human paradoxes, and in a time when the mask of confidence is amplified and commodified, music should tease out the human truth. I hope this record captures something essential which goes beyond the structural. If possible, I hope that it breaks down barriers and preconceptions as it delivers roses and intimacy into a place which allows the spirit to sing.

MIT DIR, MIT EUCH, mit Tvíski! ❤️ Ich bekomme immer noch Gänsehaut, wenn ich daran denke, wie wir da am Freitagabend zusammen vom Sonnenuntergang in die Nacht getrippt sind. Durchgeschwitzt von 90 % Luftfeuchtigkeit 💦, 60 % Sektprickeln 🍾 und 200 % Tanzliebe 🧨. Ein großes Dankeschön an alle, die mit mir in dieser Nacht getanzt, gegrinst, gespürt und losgelassen haben. Für einen Moment hatte ich wirklich das Gefühl, dass wir uns wie beim Logo alle bei den Händchen halten. 

Außerdem ein Hoch(und Höher) auf die fantastische @mitdirfestival Crew, die mit so viel Hingabe und Einsatz dieses Festival jedes Jahr zum absoluten Highlight macht 😘. Liebsten Dank, dass ich auch dieses Jahr wieder Teil davon sein durfte.

that was quiet großartig :) Danke für eure Tanz-Energie, dem Wettergott für den allenfalls leichten Nieselregen, den Lieben (Susi, Peter, Claudi, Iva) für den Support, den großartigen @friedakarlsson für die energiegeladene Crowd, den formidablen @12imhaus für die Ablöse :) Ausserdem möchte ich natürlich allen Helfenden des Mit Dirs für dieses geile Festival danken, @soerioesqrios für die Einladung, ᘜᖇᗴᘜOᖇY ᕼᗴᗪᖇIᑕᕼ für den Mühlenfloor und überhaupt <3 (Hoffe, ich habe niemanden vergessen <3)

Johannes Albert @ Fusion Festival (2019)

Their trademark, hat and flower, their distinctive and quite curious name: Beef & Bird. This is the title of the DJ-project from Markus und Felix with which they now twirl fresh air into club scene from Leipzig for 3 years.
With deep and technoid house grooves they want to mix "Fun, emotion and feeling behind the mixing desk" into the cowded party. They juggle with daring melodies, distinctive vocals, rich basses and occasionally a touch of swing.
... So why Beef & Bird? Of course, with this interspecific interaction it's not a carrion-eating predator-prey thing, as far as known, they sometimes even eat vegetables.. The DJ duo understands the musical coexistence much more than creative symbiosis and their name hides a loving tribute to the maiden names of their parents and grandparents. Simple but striking!
