Somewhere in the Night

Written in August '21, this track was inspired by the piano track on an Otis Redding song combined with lyrics written a week earlier.

I wrote this song and the first half of the lyric over 30 years ago, recorded it last year with most of my current rig, and re-mixed, and prepped for release this week - thanks to my cousin musicRon for giving me a nudge toward doing this!

The Old Man And The Music

I wrote the 12-string arrangement while we were in Florida last winter and recorded it earlier this year with most of my current rig. The bass, drums, and Martin acoustic slide are basically first take jams but I like a lot of it so we'll see if / when I come back to this one...lots of potential but needs some work.

Just A Dream

I wrote this tune this week playing around with my new AnalogMan Sun Face Fuzz pedal! Not sure if I'll add drums or just some percussion. The birds are for real outside my back door early morning recorded with my phone!

10 Years Sooner

I'm Bobby Leonard

I write and record my music my way using a method I laughingly refer to as Musical Masterbation...I play with myself (through the modern marvel of multi-tracking). Unless otherwise credited on a particular track, everything you hear on this site will be 100% written, performed, engineered, mixed, mastered, and produced 100% by me. I plan to produce an independent release titled "Aural Stimulation through Musical Masterbation".

For now, the songs will come slowly as I still have a full time job implementing software solutions for PTC and the US Navy. One day I'll retire from that gig and the projects will come more often.

Wherever this journey called life takes me, I know that I've been true the mission and done what I can to present my offering to the universe.
