This song is strongly inspired by a band where my love for reggae and dub originated: UB40. The title is a reference to their first album Signing Off.

This track is a personal and sensitive song about a difficult period of time and dealing with ugly events from the past. In short I tried to among other things express the confusion and denial that can come when sharing these feelings and troubles with close ones. I do hope that it also breaths some hope and a positive outlook though. 

Most of the time I make instrumental music, but this time I felt like I wanted to write lyrics and also do the vocals. So I hope it will be appreciated!

One of my favorite Cuban songs Chan Chan by Buena Vista Social Club, remade into my own dub style. That means heavy bass and a good reggae dub feel!

The title track of my current 3 track single "Magnolia". 
The most experimental song for me to create, was "Magnolia". Vintage electronic piano, violins and electronic bass form the base of this track. It's a very sensitive song and a lot of my emotions are put in it.

The first song on my current EP Magnolia, "Seasons DUB", is for me a relatively upbeat and rootsy reggae track. Compared to other my other songs, I've used less instruments and the main thing I wanted to express here, is the drum & base.
I goes through several moods / seasons during the track, trying to reflect daily life with it's ups and downs.

One of my all time favorite songs "I Just Called To Say I Love You (Stevie Wonder).  This is a new collab remix of my previous release of this cover song. 
In this version there was a beautiful melodica added by Stefanosis (US), because he also loved the song by Stevie Wonder as much as I do.  I immediatly loved his melody and take, so here we are with a new mix of the song!

New Single ‘Slow Down Sweet DUB (remix)’ released on 1 March ‘24! 
I’m a Dutch composer/songwriter (38) and have been playing the piano from a young age. I discovered I was able to create my own melodies and songs in my teenage years, which I absolutely loved to do. 
Releasing songs the way I do now started in 2016 though. It was actually quite a dark period for me, but making music helped me to express feelings and get through it. Since then I’ve released music in multiple genres; mostly reggae, piano and chill out/soft dance music. 

Recent released tracks: 
My latest track is "You'll Be Fine" (early 2023). This is a reggae inspired track and for the first time with vocals. That makes it also vulnerable and took some courage to actually release. 
In the summer of 2022 I released 'Singing Off' , which is a tribute to the band where my love for reggae and dub originates, UB40. 

‘Music has more power than words’ 
Creating beautiful and simple melodies from the heart is my basis for composing music. 
Songs like 'Bliss' and 'Voor Sofie', but also the DUB song 'Clouds' are some of my most sensitive songs. An example of a more upbeat release is ‘Heartbeat’. These are 3 songs that are leaded by a catchy piano melody with a chill dance beat. You’ll hear a mix of several styles and sounds in there which I am really pleased with!
