I attempted this project a year and a half ago, but I felt my ability was severely lacking so I abandoned it even after putting in weeks of effort. I've been making steady progress with my FL Studio skills in the time since, so I wanted to give this one another try.

Some miscellaneous thoughts on this project:

-This is a hybrid version between the full song and the shortened version used as the Ranma ½ ED. I included the full length intro while still ending at the same place as the anime.

-Tsugutoshi Goto (composer) is a bassist which you can easily tell because the bass line in this song is the funnest part of the entire thing. The bass line is the main reason why I wanted to recreate this song in the first place because I love it so much.

-Second funnest part is the mallet section at the end of the song, third funnest part is the pitched claps/snaps section right before the final chorus

-The song's BPM speeds up from 139 to something over 140 by the end. I am guessing that the original track wasn't recorded with a click. It made A/B comparisons very difficult. I had to manually cut up the vocal track and rearrange every phrase in order to keep it in time with the rest of the song.

This is my cover of Kerorin MAGIC! (Quelorie MAGIC!/Calorie MAGIC!) from the Persona 4 OST. It's the song that plays during Rise's commercial at the very beginning of the game.

It's mostly a 1:1 recreation, though I added some original parts to the bass and keys starting during the second chorus.
