Here with a Left-field Trance, Prog and Acid special DJ set from me and a very special guest at the end of the show — Hysterics is the more stripped back and dance focused electronica alias engineered by London-based producer Philip Gamble, best known as Girl Unit.

@girlunit, emerged as one of the most forward-thinking producers of the 2010s, delivering cutting-edge club music with bombastic hooks. 
Along with fellow Night Slugs affiliates such as Bok Bok and Jam City, he helped usher in a maximalist wave of club music, blending the complex rhythms of U.K. garage with glossy production informed by American rap and R&B. 

Anthemic singles such as 2010's "Wut" were showered with critical praise, and Girl Unit provided production work and remixes for Kelela and Katy B.

Sudor (Jackson Mix) emulates a slow dub music band accompanied by a typical IDM melancholy. Ninja, with his hi-tek wiggle-funk club, takes us on a journey designed to move the hips thanks to a fearless and energetic rhythmic line. To close, Mega Tempo, a challenging and fragmented Colombian bass focused on the dance floor.

Salut !! Merci de me recevoir ici :) Je m’appelle Charlotte, j’ai grandi en Saône et Loire et je me suis installée sur Lyon il y a environ cinq ans. Mes parents m’ont transmis l’amour pour la musique très jeune. Je me rappelle des longues soirées passées avec eux à jouer des instruments, écouter des albums de rock, de reggae, tout y passait : du jazz à la rave 90 en passant par le dub, c’était fou.  C’est en voyageant en Angleterre étant ado que j’ai vraiment découvert la drum n bass, breaks, bass music. C’est de là que viennent mes inspirations.

🔸 𝘿𝙚𝙨 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙩𝙨 𝙚𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨 ? 

Des b2b ! En ce moment je préfère mixer à plusieurs et partager ces moments de création avec d’autres artistes.  J’avais un duo avec Zio Zimo avec lequel je chantais sur des prods dub, j’aimerais beaucoup continuer à chanter mais cette fois-ci en live sur des morceaux dub, bass, jungle !

Sur la scène locale dub, je dirais High Garden avec leur projet Dub Cruiser, High Budub aussi. Sinon les crew comme First Energy, Everybody Trance, Supertape.  
Plus largement, je suis admirative des artistes comme Flore, Maelita, Leto, Subsism, Karissa, Mimi Géniale, Hyas, Emilie, Chromatic Waves, Lost in Material, Klad, Phobos, la liste est très longue…

🔸 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒊𝒎𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒔-𝒕𝒖 𝒗𝒐𝒊𝒓 𝒆́𝒗𝒐𝒍𝒖𝒆𝒓 𝒍𝒂 𝒔𝒄𝒆̀𝒏𝒆 𝒆́𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒊𝒒𝒖𝒆 𝒂̀ 𝒍'𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒓 ? 

En rêvant un peu, j’aimerais qu’on puisse vraiment s’approprier l’espace urbain pour sortir des cadres et imposer la musique partout. 
 Sur le territoire lyonnais ça bouge déjà pas mal, mais les repressions économiques et sociales sont fortes, il faut continuer à soutenir les petits lieux qui soutiennent la scène locale, comme le Grrnd Zéro par exemple.  J’aimerais moins (pas) d’étouffement du politique, moins de capitalisation de la fête, plus d’argent dans les caisses publiques, plus de femmes dans le milieu aussi !
