« Founded almost four years ago, Le Motel’s Maloca Records has excelled in world-building as it tirelessly brings together some of the best and most innovative artists from different pockets of the club community around the world. This is showcased most notably through the compilation series which returns for its second volume on the 8th December as it combines both established and breakthrough artists.

Across 17 tracks, Maloca, Vol. 2 features both label family and exciting debuts with the likes of Farsight, Griffit Vigo, and DJ JM returning to the imprint. The rest of the compilation sees knockout contributions from the likes of Bambounou, Flore, Konduku, Tristan Arp, NVST, De Grandi, Neida, Cheb Runner, Malo2k, Leese, Ultima Esuna & Destrata, Mika Oki, M I M I and Space Drum Meditation. Whilst these artists may be from different cities across the pond, they all have something in common - they are leading the way for the next wave of club music. Whether that’s the riotous sounds of NVST, Griffit Vigo’s ever- evolving landscape of gqom, Tristan Arp’s signature insect-inspired soundscape, the emerging Brussels-based artists M I M I and Mika Oki or the trippy, introspective melodies of Konduku and Space Drum Meditation. Maloca, Vol. 2, captures a mind-melting moment in time.

The artwork is by Brussels-based painter Anastasia Bay who’s work presents a renewed vision of the human figure. Oscillating between abstraction and figuration, Anastasia Bay’s work is all about contrast and balance. The choice of a precise fragment of reality in her works dissolves any narration. »

A new record for the longest RA Podcast ever: Ten hours from the powerhouse duo sweeping techno, Chlär and Alarico.

Both commanding performers in their own right, sparks fly when the Swiss-Italian duo of Funk Assault combine. The buzz surrounding their productions, DJing and their label Primal Instinct is at fever pitch, and short wonder: when it comes to gritty, high-impact sets that barrel through multiple shades of techno, few are in their league right now.

RA.960 was laid down at Watergate this March during a signature Funk Assault marathon. The pair ramp up incrementally, and even before they hit top velocity, you can hear them ripping through records with tenacity and verve. You don't need elbows in your face to tell the place is rocking.

We're informed that ID'ing the set would probably take longer than playing it (fair enough), so no tracklist for this one. Instead, fill in the blanks at your leisure. As well as 150+ BPM stompers and groove wormholes, there's everything from tribal to ballroom, electro to bassbin rattlers, and plenty of classics. 

As an encapsulation of a night out's full arc, RA.960 does the business—and best of all, you won't even need a trip to the bar for water. The gauntlet has been thrown down.

Parisian DJ & producer, anyoneID puts forward a compelling array of sonics. His "Global Club" music, strongly powerful and turned towards the club, sees him blending afro-house, baile funk, reggaeton with a barrage of electro, hard drums and trance leads. With several EPs and singles released, anyoneID is a very productive artist. His last EP “Cross Rhythm” released on the label Couvre x Chefs, has touched a lot of DJs from the Global Club music international scene. This summer he has released an EP called “Smash Bougé” in collaboration with UK artist Mina, on the UK label Earth Kicks. Also in 2023 he released an EP of his duo Kass Kass Rizer (formed with ivorian artist Asna) on the UK label More Time Records. He recently performed at MaMa Music Convention, La Créole, le Sucre (Lyon), Nova Danse (Radio Nova), Beursschouwburg (BXL), le Petit Bain, La Station, etc. sharing line-ups with artists like Mina, Jarreau Vandal, Greg, Sylvere, Lala&ce, Phelimuncasi, Ohjeelo, Scorpio Queen, BJF, Teddy Kitano, etc. We can also find him live at radios like NTS Radio (UK), Kiosk Radio (BXL), Rinse France, Reprezent Radio (UK), FBI Radio (AUS), The Other Radio (SAF), Radio Nova. anyoneID works with artists from all horizons, each time offering a surprising musical proposal.
