Bakongo comes proper with two stripped back drum workouts for TRULE’s 10” series. UK Funky pioneer Roska has been making great percussion tracks under his Bakongo alias for some time now. On Thirteen/Level Cowbell he continues this with two rugged, skeletal drum tracks with tough, minimal bass and the faintest trace of texture in there that absolutely demand to be moved to.

Will Silver is set to make his debut on Running Out Of Steam with his Circadian Rhythm EP.

The UK-based artist has been making waves with his superb and varied productions, including two EPs on Los Angeles-based label Nice Age.

His new EP comes on the highly acclaimed Lobster Theremin sub-label, which has provided a home for the likes of Amy Dabbs & M4A4, and as expected shows the producer is in fine form, creating a truly ethereal, break-filled vibe throughout which sends the listener through galaxies far far away and comes with a massive collaboration with Ell Murphy.

Today we premiere the opening track Sine (In) which fits into that ethereal breakbeat category with ease, a definitively dreamy track that we know you're going to love.

Hot on the heels of his debut LP ‘We Move’, Breaka is back with a double single of Amapiano-inspired beats.

Breaka says: “what I love about Amapiano is that even though it’s clearly made for relaxing in the sunshine, it’s also constructed with a pretty unusual and dark sound palette, which gives it this unique suspenseful feeling. Since diving deeper into the genre over the last couple of years, I’ve been obsessed with the idea of working rave sounds into its framework.

“For ‘Dololo,’ I’ve had the privilege of working with Kamohelo, vocalist for the incredible electronic outfit ‘Off The Meds’. It came together within a day after he sent me some brilliant tongue-in-cheek lyrics about dating.

“Whereas in Dololo I included some early dnb-inspired bass sounds, for Ama Waltz I wanted to stay true to the musical language and structure I normally work within—meaning breakbeats, emotional breakdowns and chopped vocals. I’m pretty happy I managed to keep that one in a 3/4 time signature. It hardly ever works for dance tracks!

“Undoubtedly I’ve been most inspired by South African artists such as Vigro Deep and Caltonic SA, but I’m really excited to see how this genre inspires producers as it makes its way around the world. These two tunes are my take on how it can be adapted to the underground sound here in the UK - if this is the first you’ve heard of it, make sure to check out other western artists like Juls, KG, Scratcha, Tribal Brothers, DJ Polo, and the Housupa crew who have already been bringing Ama into their style.”

Banoffee Pies Records welcomes La Dame on the label with her 4 track EP entitled "Zumbidos", lightly translated as "Buzzing" in Portuguese. The collection brings together a multi instrumentalist approach to a spectrum of percussion heavy, bass driven dubstep influences from the Belgium based French artist.

A musical journey neatly curated with three featuring artists, all seemingly cohesive, despite the wide net of sonics, with aim to illustrate and reflect the different sounds inhabiting the city of São Paulo. The lead track, "Suaves Rumores" aka "Sweet Rumours" invites Mr. Jo, a well known Brussels musician in the bass' underground scene with a harmonica insert, reminiscent of the early 2000 FWD dubstep sounds of the UK.

Goldie B, the French singer, MC, and producer based in Marseille, then enters with "Conscious", a catchy percussion of vibrant spoken word. "Non Ducor, Duco", meaning "I'm not driven, I'm driving", the motto of São Paulo, further introduces the next phase of La Dame's musical explorations. The last track, produced in collaboration with Florian Pellissier, a great French pianist, currently working with Iggy Pop and part of Cotonete, Camarao Jazz Orchestra and Os Foda, finally culminates with a flurry of keys in a broken beat jazz hybrid with "Dazzled".
