"Kokoti"...We are knocking and entering-- with a joyful and soulful AfroHouse track! "Kokoti" is the 6th release on Oyasound produced by Sabine Blaizin and Okai Musik. Haiti and South Africa unite on this eya/wi/yebo/ revolutionary sound! We feature South African artist PitsiRa YaMabala who honors his traditional Sepedi roots in his melodious lyrics: "Ke kgale re letsa melodi menwana ere rere kokoti-kokoti, bula mabati re kene goba rena rere makhosi Magosi!". It's been a long time that we have been knocking, now it's time and we are entering with our royal sound.

Okai Musik adds his emcee flava and provides an Oyasound affirmation: "O O O O O O Oya! Ain't nobody betta than us! Ain't no other way but up! Ain't nobody betta than us! Ain't no other way but up! In this mix, JazziDisciples (@user-838561057) member @josiah-de-disciple showcases his take on the sound.

Josiah De Disciple says: "My sound is more melodic and soulful. You will find a lot of Afro House elements as well as inspiration from World Music as that is what I enjoy listening to. In terms of creating I prefer doing it in my own space and the ingredients really depend on the song that’s being made. Sometimes the focus will be on the drums and baseline, other times it’s the vocals and chords or keys. I enjoy working with Lennon Percs, we have two projects that we have worked on the latest one came out last month titled 'Throwback'."
