Founder of label Whirlwind Trax and collective ALKHEMY and their party The Black Hole Adrestia joins us for a special high energy podcast this week. The Brooklyn-based artist serves up a mix that thoughtfully builds into spell-binding peak time techno, with a tapestry of playful vocals, driving percussion and infectious rave energy.

It’s always a pleasure putting together a mix that slowly builds that tension, but also evokes a shake-your-booty kind of mood at its peak. I tend to gravitate towards tracks with vibrant energy, but still a sense of playfulness to them. Lots of driving percussion, sassy vocals and feel-good grooves that give you those special goosebumps on the dance floor.

Since the 90s, the characteristic 303 acid sound is one of the main elements in most electronic DJ sets. We dedicate a series of online mixes from talented artists, which will contain those smiley-facing sounds. Electro, techno, rave, breakbeats, house, acid acid acid!

Liberate yourself with Acid! Squeaking 303-machines lets your mind fly away from reality. This month we are back with an acid lady who can provide you with a hypnotizing experience: Mila Black. Based in Rotterdam and resident of FOMO, she will strike her raw Acid upon us here. During the pandemic, she started playing on multiple dutch radio stations, such as Operator. With the combination of old-school atmospheric rave tunes and funky electro selections in her sets, she makes a massive leap in the scene with her mixing skills. Ready to hit hard in the clubs!
