Record collector, chef, and explorer of all good things in life, Herrera / Abraham searches for music with meaningful stories and heart at its core. His passion for music comes from being exposed to a lot of Guachinches back in the Canary Islands, where his parents would play live music at these wine-tasting parties with other musicians. Throughout the years, he has consistently evolved his taste, finding respite in genres such as jazz, ambient, experimental and live instrumental music from all parts of the world.

For this mix he has put together a selection of some of his favourite musicians and artists. People that have inspired him to share his passion for music with others and that has shaped his musical education journey.

Lavandula is a queer DJ exploring the euphoric sounds between Deep House, Detroit, Acid & Italo. Their entry into nightlife stems from a background in live visuals and motion design, and since being selected as an emerging artist for Body Movements in 2022, they have performed at various venues across East London, notably Dalston Superstore, Night Tales and All My Friends, amongst others. 

They also curate BLUSH, a mix and event series that aims to provide a moment to soothe the queer spectrum and focus on the wellbeing of the community. Lavandula invites Queer DJs to showcase an alternative side to their music library, away from the rave to create a space to decompress. BLUSH has featured on NTS and Refuge Worldwide, as well as hosting a monthly show on Voices Radio.
