XC-17 f.k.a. Stephani Alona (PITTSBURGH, PA) is an event planner and community activist. Her activism began with youth programming for Sisters PGH and other protest actions. Through her community work she began DJing, meeting people who encouraged her to step into music.

Her love for music started long before that. She was a bedroom producer releasing tracks via “garage band,” mostly ambient and synthwave, which later grew into the development of ALONA (aka XC-17). Her first EP was composed of weird electronica, bee-bop sounds, and alienish dance tunes. A few years later she introduced EROT, which marked a genre shift through many different musical compositions.

As a DJ, Ms. Alona (@stephanie-alona-helen) is fearless, daring, unpredictable, and always ready to take her audience on a wild ride. Her selections reach across multiple providence “globally”.
