Warsaw-based Ukrainian dj, producer and lover of slow-burning (sentence sponsored by rizla papers) outsider electronics who has been under our radar for quite some time.

Lately Bijū has been performing daring dj sets regularly on tested venues such as Jasna1 and slowly around everywhere he delivers us a special mix for curious ears. 

Beyond playing records, his latest LP "Land of Abundance" was released on Berlin based Sons of Traders Records. Keep also an eye on his ‘Healing Machine’ radio show on Mutant Radio, dedicated to slow-rolling experimental music.

Based in Frankfurt/Offenbach, Germany, AJO is a musical talent of many flavours with a particularly immersive sound. His most recent release Ambedo on Mana Abundance is an ode to the deepest atmospheres of trance that captivates listeners in its ritualistic imaginary. As his other moniker Kalocain he released an EP in 2023 on Codek Records, and has an upcoming release titled Genetic Memory coming out next February 2024 on the Lithuanian label Electric Shapes. For the next episode of IRIY.Frequencies Geyera delves into the legacy of Skull Disco. This label, active from 2004 to 2008, produced ten releases, all supervised by its founders, Shackleton and Appleblim.

Skull Disco carved its niche in British dubstep, blending elements of dubstep, stoner metal, and dub techno. The label's sound was complemented by a post-Egyptian visual aesthetic, created by Zeke Clough.

Although the label existed for a relatively short time, it has had a strong influence on Iriy Records due to its dedication to sophisticated sound, its role in promoting ambient dubstep, and its narrative consistency. In its ten releases, Skull Disco followed a story with its own lyrical heroes and leitmotifs.
