We are kicking off 2022 with a special 2hr episode on the MindTrip Podcast by Slight Function. The duo introduced itself to our MindTrip world last month with their track ‘Mistaken Identity’ released on Mutable Minds V compilation. Slight Function was created in 2020 and is a completely new project between the German Krenzlin and the Argentinian Rhombic. Their debut release came out as 12" vinyl at 770-output on February 2021 and their sound can be identified as dark, straight, raw techno. We hope you enjoy this special mix and we wish you a Happy New Year!

Mateo Duque Aka The Fabric of Reality empezó su carrera musical desde los 8 años de edad en la banda sinfónica de su municipio natal El Peñol(Ant). Luego su gusto por la música electrónica inicio cuando empezó a escuchar artistas de la época como, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, entre otros.

Inicio su gusto por la musica undergraund como el minimal y el techno en los años 2006 a 2009. En el 2014 ingresa a la academia Dj Zentral de la ciudad de Medellin Iniciando su carrera Dj con el alias de Matth, manejando géneros como el techno. deep techno y progressive.

The Fabric of Reality nace de la idea de experimentar sonidos no comerciales, modulares, sintéticos y ambientales. Lo que comenzó como un proyecto experimental, termino siendo el proyecto con el cual se daría un lugar en la escena local. Ingresando a Colectivos como TechnomovementMedellin, Technocity Medellin y DeepSequence.

Ha tenido la oportunidad de pinchar en Terraza Club, 881, Tiera Club y otros lugares de la ciudad, donde también fue parte de el warm up para Claudio PRC.

Como productor a sellado tracks como Matth en labels locales como Silent Space, Code Group, Funny Music; Y como The Fabric of Reality en Code Group, Techno City Medellin y pronto en Default Series.

Dynamic Reflection Podcast Series 010: Falling Echoes

Laura BCR has her ear to the ground. The French DJ and On Board Music label founder is always on the lookout for new music to spin, or for artists to join her newest INFLUENCES show on Berlin-based Refuge Worldwide. She takes her name from the much-loved and now closed, Berlin record store, Bass Cadet Records, where she spent a couple of years behind the counter.

 These days, Laura is best known for her transportive, deep techno and dubby ambient DJ sets, which have brought her to some of Europe’s finest venues such as residency at Paloma in Berlin. Her own productions first surfaced in 2020 and were included on both of On Board Music’s stand-out, charity compilations. She released her debut Initial EP on SoHaSo this year such has contributions to V/As on Semantica or Technologia Organica. More original music is in the works and will see the light very soon.

Granulart Recordings is his new label, physical/digital label focused on the deepest side of techno with dub, classic Detroit sound and 90´s techno influences, designed both to release his own stuff as well as music from artists that fit the philosophy of the label. A label where precision and musicality occur hand in hand with the intention of creating timeless pieces, outside the passage of time, sounds you can enjoy as a delicatessen over the years.
