Ricky is also the host of Club Elevate, a monthly radio show delivering high-energy frequencies on Area 3000.  Alongside occupying a residency with Naarm events imprint @goldhaus_melb, Ricky has featured frequently on line-ups throughout Melbourne’s nightlife. Throughout his short career, Ricky has played at Let Them Eat Cake, Beyond the Valley, XE54, Glamorama, Yours & Mine, New Guernica, Bourke St Courtyard, Brown Alley and supported the likes of Job Jobse, JamesJamesJames & Cassettes For Kids.

With releases on Happy Wax Records, Unrestricted Purpose, Phenomena, Love Above Records alongside a support cast that includes Stephan Bodzin, Gerd Janson and Loods, we were more than happy to hand the reigns over for instalment 082.

'I opened this mix with one of my favourite tracks at the moment; 'Doors Of Deception' by Guy Contact. I'm a huge fan of his music and I thought it’d be the perfect track to intro this mix. The rest of the mix includes a range of cuts which I’ve been loving recently from Human Movement, t e s t p r e s s, and one of my all time faves Lxury. Recently with mixes I've tried not to follow a theme of one genre and like to switch it up, so I feel like this was a good example of that!'

Focusing on his fascination of eyes and the human form, he explores abstraction of digital painting mediums and traditional techniques to create warped techno figures.

After what's been the hardest year in existence for many people on earth, especially those involved in music and live performance, it's hard to imagine the reality of being homeless at any time, let alone right now.
100% of the proceeds from our debut VSN compilation go to Dublin charity, Inner City Helping Homeless (ICHH), who do mammoth amounts of work on the streets of the Irish capital, where there is an ongoing epidemic of homelessness.

With tracks coming from far and wide across almost every genre we could think of, we take a club night that came from very humble Saturday nights in Room 2 of a Galway nightclub to worldwide ears thanks to the generous productions of some of the biggest and most talented names that you may know every detail about or nothing at all; each track paints a different and unique aspect of the world of VSN.
