growing up in amsterdam but now based in london, mixtress is a dj and producer that draws from the classic rave sounds of yesterday and bridges them with the contemporary hardcore continuum scene of today. delivering fully-charged sets that whip you into a frenzy, mixtress has played at the likes of boomtown, corsica studios, waterworks festival, fantazia: new horizons (which she notes in the interview as a full circle moment), bang face, outlook festival and the cause, where she is a resident. two years ago, mixtress made her production debut collaborating with pete cannon on the ‘Blinded by the Lights 23’ refix to wide acclaim. outside of this, her mixes and radio residencies have captivated a global audience contributing to platforms such as keep hush, rinse fm, resident advisor, mixmag, bbc radio 1 and bbc 6 music.
