Welcome to Stress Factor Podcast #159, a homage to SoulR and Marcus Intalex. Not since the inception of Metalheadz back in the '90s have I followed a label so closely, and with the Soul:ution night in Manchester it keeps me enthusiastic about the music I love.

It is also the first themed mix I have persevered with. I find it hard to stay within certain parameters as mixes follow their own path. Although the resources for this mix were huge, it took its course and I missed some SoulR and Intalex tunes out from this mix that I love.

A lot of time has gone into this and not just my own. A massive thanks to Marcus Intalex for giving up his time. Legend.

Let's meet our dj for episode 414, Distinct:
At the age of only 17, Distinct, a newcomer to the electronic music scene, was quickly infatuated with the sounds of DNB. It wasn’t long before she was out purchasing her first pieces of vinyl.  

After placing 4th in "Calgary's Next Top DJ" and an interview and article in djmag.ca, she caught the attention of the scouts from the DNB Girls. They asked her to join the team of women making noise across the country. There is no stopping this ball of D&B fire, as this is only the beginning of a very promising career.
