Mr Joseph - Explanation

The underground of electronic music is forever evolving, persistently merging and bringing together various strains of club orientated music. In fact our Friday night program, FABRICLIVE, has been focused on the very core of that since its infancy, linking together disparate sounds under one roof and giving play to pioneers and risk takers alike. Barely Legal, aka 23 year old DJ, Chloe Robinson, is a DJ who’s starting to show a knack for doing exactly that too, more about defying the genres and doing the unthinkable with her selections than re-treading old sets. 

Known predominately for a first rate fusion of grime, jungle, drum & bass, hip hop and so on...Chloe, who moved to London from Birmingham, has already scooped up recognition from a fleet of major underground players and platforms including BBC Radio 1Xtra (who picked her up for their flagship Daily Dose series last year), Hyperdub artist, Scratcha DVA and most notably the ‘godfather of grime,’ Wiley.  

Heading to our Farringdon haunt this week where she'll help toast our 15th Birthday alongside Loefah and an extended four hour show from Four Tet in Room one, we asked her to deliver yet another mix (Chloe's dropped one for our good pals over at Trap Magazine and appeared on Toddla T's BBC Radio 1 show just last week) just so that we could officially introduce her before the celebrations commence.
