Our final mix of 2023 comes from Earth Dog Records founder, Jek @earthdogbk - an hour of sludgy, swampy prog & rave fuelled trance made for  his favourite place to dance, the great outdoors.

The concept of this mix is biome rave. Each arch/section is based on different outdoor environments where I imagine a perfect dancefloor.

I also wanted to include a few unfinished productions I’ve been working on, It was a challenge but also fun to fully customize tracks to fit into the mix.

This week Köster joins us for the next episode of our vinyl series. Being inspired by music from the 90’s and the early 00’s, he is a DJ from Amsterdam whose focus lies primarily on old-school music that matches his style and what he likes to push in his sets.

Since 2019 his taste was based on high-energy old school rhythms, yet last year he expanded his collection with more Speed Garage, UK Garage, Dubstep and other bass driven genres. The combination of 4x4 tracks and breaks make for what Köster sees as a good impact on a dance floor.
