Unsound 2022 brought together LCY and Lee Gamble to play a blistering b2b set exploring percussive techno, jungle, and beyond. Fortunately, we hit the record button, resulting in Unsound Podcast 87!
Lee Gamble creates genre-agnostic music, incorporating dub, garage, and jungle, bleeding into grindcore metal and machine-strength techno. LCY was born and bred in Bristol, soaking up the city's rich soundsystem culture, which still plays a crucial part in their music. 3024: Please describe the mix in a single sentence ?

EHUA:  "This mix is dark contrasts, bursts of sunlight and rhythmic complexities all the way, it explores the entire emotional spectrum."

3024: What DJ inspires you at the moment / has inspired you throughout the years and why?

EHUA: "Flore’s DJ sets are some of the best sets I’ve seen in recent times. The skills and the selection are always next level. But through the years I’ve been inspired by so many incredible DJs from so many different scenes - from minimal techno, to dubstep, drum and bass, jungle - my inspirations are countless."

3024: What are you working on / what have you got forthcoming?

EHUA: "At the moment I’m working on a bunch of projects in between touring and I have a few tracks coming out in the next months. I’m also exploring lots of new sound directions, I’m going through a phase where I constantly have a lot ideas and I excitedly and disorderly jump from one to the other. It’s fun though, it feels good."
