Berlin-based DJ, producer, label owner of 803 Crystal Grooves and its sub-label Collective Cuts, we_r house, the Elevate record store, and proud parent Cinthie has risen to become one of the most prominent DJs in the house scene. Her music and DJ style have gained recognition across the board, from many of the legends she grew up listening to out of Chicago and Detroit, to leading figures in today's house and techno scene.

As a producer, Cinthie has been developing her style and sound over the past five years, building up her vast collection of vintage synthesizers and drum machines amidst an array of contemporary equipment.

OffBeat 001: Cinthie

I played at HÖR on my recent trip to Berlin at the end of May and I had a BLAST! 

It felt great to get in there straight off the plane (I landed 1 hour 25 mins before the start time - was tight!) and get stuck in. I LOVE mixing 2 tunes together and making something new from them. It's really a joy. 

My set was 100% improvised, I don't use sync or rekordbox and I hadn't heard 90% of the tunes before apart from checking they were good enough to play so it was really fresh feeling for me to play them and I think that came across in the vibes. 

I also had an amazing time playing the outdoor area of Heidegluhen on Saturday afternoon too. It went really well  - I got a standing ovation at the end and even gave a short speech - I basically said 'I can't do it without you guys so thank YOU'. My first time playing outdoors there and it was unforgettable. Huge thanks to everyone who came along. 

Feeling very grateful and rejuvenated from that weekend!

EXODUS - The Journey of Liberation The EP EXODUS is a musical experience that narrates, in three songs, the epic journey of the Hebrews towards the Promised Land. Inspired by one of the most iconic stories in history, each track represents a crucial phase of this journey, translating into sound the emotions of suffering, trial, and triumph. 1. Escape The first song, Escape, captures the intensity and drama of the Hebrews liberation from slavery in Egypt. The weight of oppression, the growing hope, and the cry for freedom are translated into an emotional melody filled with hope. The pulsating rhythm evokes the race for survival and the grandeur of the moment when the Red Sea parts, marking the beginning of the journey. 2. Desert In Desert, we are transported to the arid wilderness, where the Hebrews face trials and discover divine will.
