On this weeks episode of The Spin Cycle we are featuring BOI.  BOI is an up and coming house and techno DJ from Daytona, Florida. His style leans towards the melodic techno and indie dance sound but, in this mix BOI showcases his flow of energy and range of selection. You will have trouble sitting still through the duration of this musical journey with that driving four to the floor beat.  You can find BOI playing around the North East Florida area all the way up to Pennsylvania.

On this episode of The Spin Cycle we have another intricate mix by one of our founding fathers, Popuh. Popuh has been a staple in the North Florida house scene for almost 10 years, getting his start as a radio DJ in college. Popuh has honed his craft over those years, pulling inspiration from multiple genres to create a diverse sound. This mix is a great example of that as it starts out soulful, giving you uplifting and bouncy beats before turning up the heat and adding in techy flare while maintaining the lyrical flow throughout the set. We love this flow of energy that keeps the listener engaged and always on their toes.

Meet Oshe, a DJ/Producer out of Chattanooga Tennessee. Oshe spends his days raising goats in the mountains and his nights lighting up the dance floor.  His love of music began at a young age by raiding his dad’s record collection, finding unique and diverse tracks. Oshe cannot be put in one box as he loves spinning everything from disco funk to garage. 

Oshe spends his time each week recording his weekly radio show “Hi-Fi Garden” for MIX93 FM based out of LA. You can tune in every Tuesday to discover new underground tracks. In addition to his radio show, his YouTube channel ItsOsheBaby is filled with sets filmed in the mountains that include his beloved goats, donkeys and other farm animals. 

This Spin Cycle showcases Oshe’s intentional flow of energy. Starting off with some introspective tracks and transforming into the deep, dark and strange sounds of the underground. Oshe finishes the set off with one of his original unreleased tracks, highlighting his skills as a producer.

On this episode of The Spin Cycle we are featuring the infamous Disco 
Cowboy.  Disco Cowboy is known for his eccentric energy and groovy selections which transport the listener back into the disco age, but with a modern twist. This set starts off with one of Disco Cowboys original tracks with Rinse and Repeat's very own Lewis ID. The track "Free Your Freak" features vocals and guitar from NW Izzard, lead singer of the Honey Hounds band. Throughout this set he showcases his range, flowing between Nu Disco to Tech house while maintaining those funky basslines. This set was crafted with the Rinse and Repeat sound in mind, so to get the full Disco Cowboy experience go ahead and find him on all streaming platforms.

On this episode of The Spin Cycle we are featuring the talented Eccentra. Eccentra resides in Orlando, Florida where she is making waves in the house music scene. She is helping shape the culture of the Orlando dance community by throwing her own events and collaborating with other Florida-based collectives. As a lover of music and travel, Eccentra has flown across the world in pursuit of live performances to pull inspiration, in order to curate her own unique sound.

As her name implies, this mix is filled with eccentric beats that flow together in synchronicity. She aims to tell a story through her sets and gives the listener a glance into her soul. Eccentra amplifies women in music by selecting tracks with female vocals, and this mix is a great example of that. The energy throughout this set ebbs and flows creating a dynamic sound that keeps the listener on their toes.
