With The Star of the Sea' is the debut full length album from Miguel and the Ocean Swell. The group, is the brainchild of New York City songwriter Mike Rinzel. Their full length release, "With The Star Of The Sea" is written as a loose story, touching on themes of grace, love, addiction, struggle and ego. Packed into tight pop song structures, the recordings are awash with shimmering lead guitars by Oscar Bautista and thick harmonies from Mike and Mark Rinzel and Drummer/ Producer Alan Camlet. 

Prior to a decade long musical hiatus, Rinzel performed and toured the East Coast as lead guitarist and songwriter for NYC-based group Poolsville coining the phrase "slop pop" to describe the band's approach to sound.
