"RUN AWAY (but it’s different)” is a quiet, aching love letter to second chances and soft escapes. In this intimate reimagining of his breakout single, DEAR DAO strips the song down to its rawest form—blending hazy textures, cinematic minimalism, and late-night vulnerability into an ethereal indie-pop experience.

Each version feels like a different chapter of the same dream: slowed and reverb-soaked like you're driving through memories at 2 a.m., or delicately acoustic like a whisper from a distant part of yourself. Layered with nostalgic sadness and flickers of hope, this project captures what it means to long for freedom, connection, and a place that feels like home—even if it’s just in someone else’s arms.

Years in the making – this is our debut album.
Join our protagonist on a journey through the depths of space. His mission: To observe a mysterious anomaly known only as The Outlaw. As he draws closer, the laws of physics begin to dissolve.

But this is no accident of fate. The âventiure is no longer a random event that befalls the hero — it is a perilous trial he seeks out himself, guided by a wondrous force meant for him alone.

White Ticket is a song about the beauty of unfinished moments.
In my twenties, I thought advice like “youth is beautiful” or “enjoy it while it lasts” sounded careless and vague.
Now in my thirties, I realize that those days—and even today—are radiant in their own way.
This track captures the feeling of holding a blank ticket, a pure canvas, still waiting to be painted.

10,20대에는 “청춘은 아름답다”, “지금을 즐겨라”라는 말이 무책임하게만 들렸지만,
지나고 돌아보니 그 순간도, 지금 이 순간도 여전히 눈부시게 아름답다는 것을 알게 되었습니다.
불안 속에서도 우리는 여전히 무엇이든 될 수 있는 하얀 티켓, 빈 캔버스를 가지고 있습니다.
담백하고 나른한 사운드 속에 청춘의 여운을 담아냈습니다.
