They tell us it’s progress, for real, supposed to relieve all this stress, a manufactured caress.
But our attention span, it’s shrunk to a quick scan, fitting into their grand plan.
This pixelated screen, a constant, blinding scene, what does it truly mean beyond the digital sheen?
We’re just a data point, a weary joint, trying hard to anoint ourselves with something more potent

​From Cali farm roots to hitting the airwaves with "Hey Amy" on KSLG last summer 2025 and going viral in Indonesia, Riot Chick—aka Katie Fennell—is an artist blending grunge, rock, and indie-folk with a raw, bluesy voice and the deep soul of original worship music. A Suzuki-trained pianist who "just sends it," she composes using everything from BandLab and Logic to shaking rocks in a can for that perfect grit. she also usesa Lava Genie Guitar for Live Shows that Rck people's world.
 
Her journey started early; at 13, she was a recognized composer for "The Dead Moon," and she later cut her teeth in the Christian hip-hop band Prolific with lead singer Kevin.
​Katie’s ascent has been anything but a crescendo of luck; rather, it has required fortissimo effort at every turn. Her path has been marked by a syncopated rhythm of challenges, from years spent as a single mom rebuilding her life from the ground up to a humbling health battle. Having to rehabilitate both her hands and her voice was a major key change for this '86 baby, yet she harmonized her struggle with her faith. Honoring the memory of her father, Steve Silacci, she’s proof that you can do all things through God, no matter the tempo of the trials you face.
