Born and based in Italy, Ferrari wrote the record during the country’s strict lockdown evenings and first days of easing the restrictive measures. From the mid-tempo chugger with percussion rhythms of ‘Jungle Boogie’ to the Italo disco-infused and synth heavy ‘Trancektor’, the 4-track EP traverses lively moments and dark moods.

Exclusive: Farren Laen - A Word Spoken

Created in the northern hemisphere of the planet, in-between Canada and the US, New Yorker Farren Laen releases the first EP, Attention Renders Our Reality, on the newly founded imprint Laen Disc. Farren's second label – Laen is the co-founder of 00:AM too  - he's involved with kicks off its discography with a drum beat containing out of three tracks and covering the artists mainly deep but multifacted side in (sound) details. The EP opener This World is followed by Laen's most melodic approach on the EP: A Word Spoken. Latter starts with mumbling vocals, which sound as if they were echoing through a didgeridoo. With the vocals fading slowly in and out of the track they also serve as an introduction for the listener or rather a first glimpse of Acid-ish bleeps which in the following are alternating with (deeper) synth chords that are enriched with various effects throughout the track and are carried by a super lush bass line. A Word Spoken sounds like the perfect continuous moment put into sound sequences masterfully arranged that the track surrounds one so softly like clouds planet.

Farren Laen's EP Attention Renders Our Reality will be released on Laen Disc on November 30th, 2020.

EXCLUSIVE: Farren Laen - A Word Spoken [Laen Disc]

We are happy and proud to present you the second release of silicate records: Epidermal Response (Ave Doors: Remixed). A compilation of remixes of https://soundcloud.com/ave-doors' first EP.
The first song of the EP is Perez remix of Quantum Tantrum. In this hypnotic Track, the French song-writer infuse the original song with a breathless rhythm full of psychedelism and violence, cutting the sound spectrum with metallic swirls and creating an ever-increasing loop of anguish.
The second one is the work of https://soundcloud.com/panthera-krause. The Dj from Leipzig took the main elements from The Dithering and crafted a Berghain-turned-disco song which bassline full of pop reminiscence fight stomping drum-kicks and ethereal synths.
The last song on the EP was delivered via transatlantic flight from Chicago. Ariel Zetina turned Can't Stop The Trolley into a rave tool. The doors open and let the wind gush-in the original song, the original elements stutter along an unforgiving tempo for a jaw-clenching vibe.

Exclusive: Axel Boman - Pink Mist

It was back in 2010 when Polish artists Grzegorz Demiañczuk and Wojciech Tarañczuk founded PETS Recordings, the same year when the duo's  sophomore album Escape from Zoo was released – not on the newly founded imprint though. It took another three years then until Grzegorz and Wojciech, commonly known under Catz 'n Dogz and former underground act 3 Channels, put their first EP with Eats Everything out on the label. However, with PETS Recordings the artists have always followed a balanced selection of releasing music from aspiring and renowned artists, from local acts to global players, from Deep House to Techno but always meaningful and foremost beautiful music. For the label's 10th anniversary the duo compiled a 12-track strong various artist compilation coming in three parts and portraying the label's past years musically and hosting tracks from affiliates like Bawrut, Jeigo, Das Komplex, KiNK, Catz 'n Dogz themselves and Studio Barnhus label head Axel Boman. The Stockholmer contributes his take Pink Mist, a rather deep musical approach to the collection. An intriguing chord-sequence underlaid with organs and stalactite sounds as well as sparely used but thus even more catchy spoken vocals Boman creates a track that not only finds a home on the compilation but will do in many DJ playlists as it combines a decent groove with deep melodies that taint one's mind like only love can and therefore hits close to every music lover's heart.

10 Years Of PETS Recordings Part 2 will be released on December 11th, 2020.
