Flashtech first contributed to our label in 2010; we've had the distinct pleasure of witnessing his development into an extraordinary trance & progressive talent. For the first time in years, we proudly present a new EP by the Hungarian talent, featuring two euphoric and visionary cuts.

The lead track, "Closer", will resonate with veteran fans of progressive trance. In the build, a gorgeous string of vocal stutters joins an already mellifluous soundscape, featuring a variety of celestially inspired synths. In nostalgic fashion, the powerful bass sequence takes center stage in the breakdown and, moments later, gently gives way to a glorious arrangement.

Equally ebullient, "Shattered Dreams" is yet another timeless offering by Flashtech, featuring myriad melodic layers and no shortage of soulful, inspired vibes. A powerful groove explodes out of the gate, surrounded by transcendent pads and ethereal vocal stabs. At the quarter turn, we are met by a stunning chord progression and several accompanying side melodies, including arpeggio lines and a soothing piano score. After a short mini-break, the main themes reunite to rapturous effect.

Following his "Hill / In Your Heart" EP on Silk Music, a collaboration with Bring Bliss, Russian producer Pavel Denisov is back with a 4-track EP, "Misterium".

The title track takes off with a deep and hypnotizing groove, later accompanied by intriguing female vocal stems. Throughout the song, numerous subtle melodic additions provide extra texture that mixes perfectly with the lush vocal effects. A rather mesmerizing atmosphere is quickly established in "Caldera", featuring a strong groove and powerful bassline notes. Light melodies and lush sound effects add an extra level of detail to the song. In "Dream Of You", we witness a soothing soundscape with an incredibly funky groove and refreshing vocal lines. Rounding out the release, "Continuum" features a hypnotic groove and dramatic sound effects, as well as evocative synth elements.

Our first release of 2016 is a highly anticipated EP from SNR, the acclaimed Bay Area-based producer and DJ. Previously featured on "Arrival 02" and "Silk Royal Showcase 05", the three anthemic cuts that comprise this release are finally available in unmixed form.

Quite early in its progression, "Limbo" sets the euphoric tone of SNR's release, in general. A stadium-rocking groove is punctuated by a thrilling chord sequence, while a variety of other melodic and even vocal flourishes further enhance the soundscape. The breakdown features an extremely innovative, funky, and exhilarating new lead -- one that clearly demonstrates the artist's deft experience at moving the dancefloor.

The subsequent cut, "Umami", is equally radiant and club-oriented. Centering on an uplifting vocal motif, the song develops into a peak-hour stormer, courtesy of a thunderous bassline and neon-tinged lead.

Closing out the EP, a 'Deep' take on the aforementioned "Limbo" proves to be one of SNR's most intricate and unique compositions to date. A subterranean bassline immediately grounds the remix in deeper terrain, as does the heavily filtered, yet emotive piano theme. In the breakdown, we are treated to the inspiring melodic motifs of the original mix; yet, just as we anticipate an explosion of energy, the song refreshingly reverts back to a smooth, after-hours groove. All in all, SNR's EP is a veritable master class in intelligent, uplifting, and DJ-centered electronic music production.

Yin and Yang (n.) - the concept of duality forming a whole. A fundamental premise in Chinese philosophy now transposed to the electronic dance industry through the creation of Proton "Editions". Through encyclopaedic knowledge of the 800+ strong Proton roster of labels Tripp Baronner has envisioned a new concept of the principle of seemingly polar opposites, coming together as interconnected and independent universal forces - life and death, the dark and the light: one complete entity.

From a passion for underground progressive house at opposite ends of the audio spectrum - the deep, shadowy atmospheres to the blissful, shimmering melodies, "Yin" and "Yang" were born in an effort to represent this phenomenon in musical form. Each release will provide a single remix of an existing Proton roster track for two inextricably linked labels in the form of a light (Yang) and dark (Yin) edition. Released on the same day, a strong contrast in styles will thus serve to complement each other and nourish the whole.

Last but not least, the final of our magnificent line up for the remix EP comes from Ukraine based wonder VIF, who is always upping the level of quality in any release he puts out. It's no different with this mind blowing rendition of the original, this time diverting from the more mellow sounds & reaching full on into that driving & energetic sound this talent is know for. Never lacking a unique twist; you hear the way the original is captured into a more cleaner & vibrant soundscape with the use of the lovely synth work that marks the signature sounds of his work. One that can definitely be used as a dance floor raiser; the sounds sweep through every crack & crevice highlighting the beauty of the layering used. The vocals are amped up to a more alluring twist with the electronic elements that capture the lighthearted side. Crisp & clear percussions enhance that fast paced feeling whilst letting the vocal do their magic with the haunting chops. What a way to finish this remix EP off, the closing palette that has followed with the rest, offering a nice variety for you all to enjoy. 

An EP that is tremendously appealing in every way possible, these artists have delivered something that cannot be replicated in such a manner.
