San Holo has been such an inspiration for me lately, his distinctive sound influenced me in such a unique way that I decided I had to try something with one of his songs. Hiding was the second attempt at remixing him.
I knew how the original sounded and honestly, I didn’t really felt another version of it, but still I decided to try.
I had written down this super atmospheric chords as the main idea, but the unexpected came when the vocal just randomly fitted perfectly. From there, I was able to start seeing where I wanted to go.
Also lately I’ve been feeling really inspired by anything space-related, surreal worlds/landscapes… and I’ve been trying to paste that into my songs. This is the first one where I really try to show this, and hopefully, the first of many.

-	"Ashes" has probably been the most impactful album I heard in such a long time. Not just for its originality, but also for the impact this record had into the electronic music scene. To me, this album was freshness. As an electronic music lover, I see how easily this music can get stuck in the same thing until someone comes out with something unexpected and switches thing up. Since the moment this album came out, it’s been an endless source of inspiration, and I’ll be forever grateful to Illenium for this.

Remixing Without You was simply beautiful. The original is one of the only ones where you can’t find electronic music involved, and that made the whole process much more interesting. The GOAL with this remix was to keep the essence, beautiful and pureness from the album. I’m so proud of this one.

3LAU & Said The Sky - Fire (Ft. NÉONHÈART) [Ripless Remix]

-	This one was fast. I had spent all day working on ideas that were really going nowhere, I was literally turning my Xbox on when suddenly, that saxophone melody starts playing in my head, that was the “click” to the whole idea. It was one of those songs that comes to your head and you are able to paste the exact idea on the project. I knew the sounds I wanted to use and how I wanted them to sound in the mix. The original was really impactful and I’m usually so scared when remixing songs that are already this good to me, but I was feeling this one so much, that surprisingly the opposite happened. It’s crazy how life surprises you sometimes. Until this moment, this is the most fun project I’ve worked on.
