@club-felinas aims to expose, support and promote women, gender dissidence and the queer community within the music scene mainly at the Latin level.

Pompealo is ESCOBUTT's contribution to Club Felina's first VA compilation which includes genres such as neo perreo, ambient, Latin club, electronic experimental, guaracha and dembow, which are representatives of the greatest exponents in the independent scene. Pompealo is a homage and exploration of queercore sampling that inspires dance, the track was made for the frenemies, for the resilient emerging DJs and for the laughs. 

@escobutt is a Colombian migrant artist based in Toronto, Canada. They are a non-binary artist, performer and curator who’s multifaceted narratives and talents include a variety of media outlets that aid their exploration of gender, entertainment, and satire.

[NOFUTUREPREMIERE] ESCOBUTT - Pompealo [Club Felinas]

Nuevo Prohibido es un artista mexicano-suizo que actualmente reside entre las vibrantes ciudades de Berlín y Zúrich. Como DJ, productor y co-fundador de @metarave, así como dueño de los sellos @philoxenia y @lustpoderosa, Nuevo Prohibido ha estado profundamente inmerso en diversos proyectos de música electrónica durante más de dos décadas.

La misión artística de Nuevo Prohibido gira en torno a combinar de manera fluida sus diversos antecedentes culturales y musicales. Fusionan hábilmente la nostalgia por la escena rave de los 90's y 00's con un agudo aprecio por las diferentes raíces de la música electrónica.

En colaboración con DJ LOUI FROM JUPITER4, curan Metarave, un espacio único diseñado para fomentar una comunidad rave multicultural. Su enfoque principal se centra en la música electrónica Latinx, con el objetivo de apoyar a artistas emergentes y concienciar sobre la diversidad dentro de la comunidad.

Una de sus últimas creaciones, 'Caguama y Tacha', se inspira en una legendaria noche de Año Nuevo en CDMX en 2022/23. Esta pista es una fascinante colisión de elementos trance, impulsada por una enérgica línea de bajo guaracha y acompañada por voces que capturan vívidamente el estado eufórico experimentado durante un rave sudoroso en Technotitlan.

'Caguama y Tacha' fue meticulosamente producida en el estudio de Nuevo Prohibido en Berlín en una noche melancólica en la que extrañaban profundamente la vibrante energía y ambiente de México. Esta pieza refleja su conexión profunda tanto con su viaje musical como con su tierra natal.

La otra pista, 'Tentacion', es una mezcla entre Footwork, Baltimore Club y Reguetón. Una pista para elevarse en espiral.

Ambas pistas fueron producidas en el estudio de Nuevo en Berlín en 2023 entre el verano y el otoño.

Cofounder of NYC collective/event series EUWHORIA, alongside Cyb3r Bull, and event series, The Spiral, alongside Soo Intoit, Xana uses their influence as an event producer in the techno and club scene to uplift queer DJs and musicians and share the growing platform their creating to spotlight emerging and existing talent in NYC.

FUNRAVER is a Miami-based queer dance party, mix series, and label aiming to uplift and highlight trans and queer DJs and producers of color in electronic nightlife. With their popular themed parties and raves spanning from kink raves and video game themed perreos, FUNRAVER is taking over queer Miami nightlife with its juicy and diverse sounds exploring Latin and Afro global beats and queer influences in rave and electronic music.
