Hi Friendz,    we’re super happy to release our new single „Tornasol“! This track is quite special to us. We produced it quite a while ago, in a tiny house in the middle of the german Eifel mountains. For us it represents the thrill of new beginnings, the first signs of spring and the excitement that goes with it. So even though we made it a while ago, it seems quite fitting in these times where finding hope in little things is essential and spring is just around the corner :)

Visionquest unleash the second superb release on this year’s most exciting new label. Charming guitar led melodies strung out over blissful poetic lyrics and dreamy synths, ‘Utopia’ is the embodiment of its definition. A captivating blend of pop magic, hatched in a dream and painted in vivid colour, it creates devotion to its musical heart. It’s elusive partner in crime, ‘Golden Dreams’ is cloaked in mystery and soaked with attraction. Uttering choral cries and apocalyptic echoes, it evokes the thrilling sensations of falling in love.

Steering to the dancefloor, house music king Ewan Pearson breathes melancholic pulses through Utopia’s veins in a heart-rendering remix for the small hours a truly inspiring remix from Ewan who mastered the whole EP.

The second release on the Visionquest label, brought together by the four musketeers: Seth Troxler, Ryan Crosson, Lee Curtiss and Shaun Reeves, illuminates their inspired direction and precise aims to unleash a fresh visionary sonic imprint upon the earth.

Footprintz are the Montreal based duo formed through the dreamy musical decadence of Adam Hunter and Clarion North, channeling hypnotic euphoria from the constellation Pegasus into kaleidoscopic sunrise floors.

Steve Sibra is no newcomer to the French electronic music scene. Active since 1999, he has already released several albums and around forty EPs. 
Originally from Paris but now based in Montpellier in the south of France, Steve is a radio man. For many years, he hosted Laboratoire Sonore on Montpellier 91 FM, where he welcomed the cream of international artists to his show. 

Steve joined the Brique Rouge team in 2022 and, in just a few releases, has risen to become one of the core artists shaping the label's sound. He brings his inimitable touch of melancholic deep techno and melodic, cinematic soft house, sometimes infusing it with a strong electro influence and a few experimental touches. The quality of his productions having won over everyone who listened to them, it was only natural to (finally) offer an album that allows listeners to enter Steve's dancefloor universe.  

And what an album! With 21 tracks, it's more than an adventure, it's a huge sonic trip that draws you in from the very first track and takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions, vibrations, and sensations that doesn't let go until the very last track. It's a coherent universe, where every note is weighed for a minimalist approach to a melodious groove. 

Sometimes leaning towards “sunset music,” sometimes towards a slightly darker melancholy, Telepath Voodoo leaves no one indifferent, and each listen brings its own set of details and surprises.  So listen to it loud, listen to it on headphones, listen to it while dancing or meditating, but let yourself be carried away on this long journey that Steve Sibra offers you.  Undoubtedly one of the most important French House and Electronic artists of the moment.

Created in 1999 by David Duriez, the independent French label Brique Rouge continues to promote the electronic sound that David has always believed in and defended. Far from the formatting and excessive vulgarity of the current electronic scene, the label promotes an eclectic electronic sound that remains rooted in the underground and, above all, in a clubbing vibe.  In general, the artists on the team are given carte blanche, and it is above all the spirit that counts. The label does not seek success; it is a success. The success of being able to release music without compromise. With one release per week on platforms since 2020, the label (and its divisions RZ Muzik & Obliqu3) is seen as a key player in the French underground electronic scene due to its activism.

Premiere: Daniele Di Martino & Sascha Cawa - Homage [Rural Records]

A few months in and TAU, the label helmed by Adana Twins, is in the groove. Launched in August 2018, the outlet has given the Hamburg duo a chance to flex their A&R muscles, curating releases that showcase more established artists alongside up and coming talents, while allowing them to fully explore their own tastes.
TAU004 shines a light on Amberoom, a German trio comprised Manuel Tur, Adrian Hoffmann and Ramin Nouyan. The three men produce won- derfully warm, soulful, nourishing compositions which have already court favour with the Innervisions crew - their killer track ‘Kastell’ released on the much-respected ‘Secret Weapons 11’ compilation, and Dixon added his own “Retouch”. Veteran producer isolée steps up for remix duties on this one, too, making this an essential three-tracker.
The EP kicks off with ‘Tulu’ a stirring cut punctuated by a wistful male vocal complemented by a harmonious, yet sombre low end. Delicate twin- kles and emotive strings add depth as the track tugs on your heartstrings. This is a lush, measured composition with excellent programming on its organic-sounding drums and a contemplative atmosphere throughout.
Next up is the title track, ‘Jazire’, which picks up the pace immediately. A contagious 4x4 beat forms the foundation of this rousing number, which builds steadily into a cacophony of tribal-esque effects; shakers reverberating next to mysterious sounds that echo in and out of the back- ground. A melancholy melody gives this track extra emotional density, while the tension builds and subsides intermittently and the beat keeps those hips moving.
Lastly, isolée’s reinterpretation of the title track utilises a more traditional house motif, emphasising the shadowy atmospherics and injecting a more insistent beat. As the 4x4 rhythm pumps along, he adds clicks and skipping toms - pushing the energy levels up a notch. A dark, eerie tone pervades and isolée retains the sorrowful refrain from the original to complement his dour synth riff.
Adana Twins keep the standards high as TAU continues to impress with another exemplary release.

At the beginning of last year I went to listen and see Isolée during his live act in Lausanne. He started that night with a really amazing tune - something so full of love and harmony, something that is definitely rare at the moment.

One week later that song was still in my mind and so I asked Rajko what it was, to which he answered: "I did a soundtrack for a skateboard movie and the track I started my live set with is a draft of it." I asked him to make me an edit to be played in my set. I’ve been playing "Dennis" for the past year in all my sets around the world and always receive a fantastic reaction from the smiling crowd.

One year later this special song called "Dennis" is ready to be played by you and the world and I'm really proud and excited to start "Xtra Tamed" with such a masterpiece! I asked one of my best friends and one of the most talented producers around, Baïkal (from Maeve and Innervisions), to work on the remix and trust me when I say that this rework has a similarly funny but long story as the original cut! Isolée vs Baikal sounds like a match made in heaven, don't ya think?
