Ripping Wounds is a metal band formed in 2023 and based in Athens, Greece. Featuring active members of the local extreme metal scene and acclaimed acts such as black thrashers Ravencult and death metallers Resurgency, the band aims to create a crossover sound that blends cutting-edge thrash ferocity with vicious death metal riffage, all infused with the raw intensity of apocalyptic metallic hardcore.

With their upcoming debut EP titled “…Lurks Within,” Ripping Wounds offers a powerful and dynamic listening experience that is both nostalgic and innovative, merging relentless aggression with atmospheric depth.
