First tracks are always special! Good track!

Here is my Orpheyo Dragon set recording from Dragon Dreaming Festival closing Sunday nights Main Stage session. 

Perfect sound, in perfect surroundings, made this a very special experience in the natural beauty this country has to offer.

Playing after some higher bpm artists at a prime time, really set the tone for me to lock the floor into a groove for a full power hypnotic techno trip.

I was well prepared, like I always am for taking on the responsibility of playing on a big stage and setting the frequency for so many people. The energy an artist can transmit to a dance floor is not something I take lightly, as it can be a very transformative place. I show up with the best of my ability, connected, energetically clean, confident and with presence, ready to delivering the vibes.

Thank you to the receptive dance floor that stayed for the journey with me and I thank all the dragons involved in supporting my musical ventures, it was an honour.

Orpheyo Dragon @ Dragon Dreaming Festival 2023

It is this one night, illuminated by shooting stars, in which the bodies collectively move rhythmwise to utilise the cosmic energy for the art of catharsis. The old is processed, reflected upon and bid farewell, while the new is welcomed as the divine force of creation. It is Taaris who provides everything for the ecstatic dance in the darkest of nights with her dynamic musical flow.

Taaris is a French DJ and producer as well as co-founder and DA of the Native Rhythm collective. Her musical craft is to interweave hypnotic techno tunes into a shamanic rhythmic process. In a vision where textures are the DNA of animals, plants and humans, Taaris' music revitalises ancient techniques to explore and connect with all living beings. Her music marks the return to the groovy patterns used by indigenous tribes and cultures for many centuries.

With her fast-paced rhythms, Taaris manages to transform modern techno into an archaic dance feeling that speaks to you on a deeper level. Get hypnotised by her incredible mix, whose power never lets up and catapults you into a moment of eternity through the never-ending percussion-driven loops!

These days, our home planet completes its circle around the sun. A year full of great sounds, unforgettable moments and a strengthened connection to likeminded people lies behind us, another year for Charybdis. In our opinion there is no better adept to bid farewell to 2023 than Blazej Malinowski.

A true grandmaster of the hypnotic scene, he probably doesn't need much of an introduction. Blazej discovered techno some 20 years ago and has been creating and cultivating the spaces that explore the infinite varieties of our beloved genre ever since with great dedication. The stunning and groundbreaking results of his journey materialized in many forms: In his bewitching sets, his distinctive productions, in his extraordinary events - and last but not least in his energetic yet so humble personality.

We are delighted to welcome Blazej on board our Dynamic Spheres series, for which he crafted one of his driving mixes full of tripped out sounds for the inner visionary moments in the pitch black.

Savage Sessions | 61 | MJK [Melbourne]

For the 62nd journey on Savage, we introduce a fresh local talent from Melbourne - C:NXR!

Born in Bradford (UK), C:NXR moved to Australia in 2004. He was into electronic music from a very early age and delved into the world of Techno by 2019. Picking up production skills on the way, C:NXR drew his inspiration from heavier sounds of metal music and crafted it with his new found liking of deeper, ambient and atmospheric sounds.

We first took notice of him with his immaculate mix on Node podcast and were delighted to know that we had a fresh talent amongst us in Victoria. His love for Techno was very evident in his narrative mixes.

C:NXR also runs his own label/series called Ørphisrā where he intends to release new music and showcase talents across the world. Currently he is in preparation to release his first track ‘Mirrored Memories’ on Ørphisrā and we can’t wait to see what he has in store for future. The track that releases mid March is mastered by the legendary Mickey Nox Studio.

Melbourne based, Ripplefactor lays down a deep hypnotic soundscape for this episode of the Machine Mix series, featuring a wide array of styles that explores depth and maturity within the ‘techno' spectrum.

 Ripplefactor holds residencies with two well known crews @savageartproductions and @redmoontribe. His curation has seen him contributing to many international podcasts and building a strong presence of Deep Techno flavour through this locally.

Sonic experiments derived from syncopated rhythms, intricately crafted ambiences, and patiently evolving textures, Pattrn’s work as a producer bases itself on the creation of space and its perception for the audience. Playing violin since the age of four and later on majoring in both acousmatic music composition and sound engineering, Pattrn’s precision is the fruit of a lifelong dedication to music of all forms, from creation in itself or through his implications in Brussels’ scene.

Beyond the years of technical know-how and self improvement in production, DJing, and live sets,  Brice Deloose aka Pattrn has been an active member of the local scene for quite some time. Cocreator of FTRSND, Brussels By Night Federation, Initiate, as well as having been the artistic director of Fuse club, Pattrn has spent much of his time promoting local artists and collectives to push forward Brussels' underground.

Having shared the decks with the likes of Luke Slater, Luigi Tozzi, Claudio PRC, Kangding Ray, Svreca, and many more, Pattrn uses his sets to impose his world of seamless hypnotic music to lure passionates for always one last dance.
