Friday Night Funkin 'Dadbattle' B - Side Remix

Well...... didn't expect this did you. I've been wanting to make a touhou style song for a long while and with Touhou 16 getting a demo out I think now is the right time to do so. I'm not entirely going for a "ZUN" style composition, more like a combo of Zun, DM Dokuro and myself since both of them inspired my style. This is a theme for my original character "Jaden", a sword wielding, fire based, human character with a phoenix motif coming from another world, so I tried to base the song around that. For those who are wondering, their spell card would be "Sword of the Phoenix". I hope you all enjoy it. (Do not use without my permission and don't bother me for tracks.)

Jaden's Touhou theme "The Flame Of The World Traveler"

"Heh... you're good. BUT I'M NOT GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT!!" "Spell Card: REIGNITING FLARE!!!!" Phase 2..... This is the phase right after the original fight's ending cut scene, with the entire phase being the definition of the "Objective: SURVIVE" meme. Jaden activates their last spell card to try and take you down with him, which calls for a frantic song with dragonforce style drum patterns. This phase was HEAVILY inspired by DM Dokuro with the chords, time signature and how short this one is compared to the previous song. With the tempo cranked up to 190 and more bullets than you can handle... than usual... this phase will keep you on your toes... or fingers in this case. (side-note: I was able to make this in around 30 minutes with how simple it was in my head after phase 1 was finished) I hope you like it... and enjoy. (Do not use without my permission and do not bug me for more Touhou songs... I will decide that on my own)

Jaden's Touhou Theme Phase 2: "Burning Resilience Of The Warrior"

This remix has a small story behind it. I was originally doing this remix around 2 weeks ago and was getting a good amount in, then I saw @retro_specter 's remix on it going CRAZY so I put it off for a bit. Then I was like, "screw it, I have an outline of the remix I want, let's finish it". Here is the finished product. I do have an OGG file of the instrumental but I don't know if I'm going to put it on "GameBanana" yet. The original artist behind this track is @rozebud who worked with SwankyBox(yt) on the mod itself. I hope you enjoy this remix. (Plz do not mod this or use it without my permission)

Foolhardy Riprider500 Remix

Time to hit the dance pad, just let me put my quarter on the corner of the screen first. The Kapi mod by @paperkitty (The same one who predicted Steve’s move set in smash bros) is honestly one of my favorite mods to date next to Whitty and Zardy and I REALLY wanted to do a remix of the 2nd song. after I knew it has some similarities to Beethoven Virus from ddr and stepmania. This made me break out the strings and chior to make this already awesome song into a true ddr audio specticale. (P.S. it's pronouced the same way as beethoven, it's a play on the word "bea". Also as usual no use without my permission or credit) Enjoy this.

DA Games and "Iris" have inspired me to make more heavy metal sounding songs.... why not start with their newest one. This is a Chorus Short of BioBond by DAGames and Iris made in 0cc-famitracker. This was an incredible song to try and remix it's chorus, because frankly, I can't "metal scream" for the life of me; and with BioBond having that type of vocal track I desided to make it a Chorus short instead. Well...... this was an unexpected post from me. This is a remix of Rush E by @sheetmusicboss , with this being a more electronic twist rather than Black MIDI. The thing that started my work on this was a clip of The8BitDrummer on YT and Twitch playing this. And no it wasn't after MoistCritical shouted the original song out, if fact it helped remind me that I had this file in the first place. Necromancer Remix - Set You Free

Deltarune Chapter 2 went live almost 6 days ago, and after playing it for 2 days, checking every secret (much to my jaw hitting the floor, [looking at you other route]) I decided to make another Orchestral remix. This is my second ever attempt of making one, next to Dear Calypso, and I wanted to include ALL parts of this song, including the beta version from the Undertale 5th Anniversary concert and I say I did a pretty good job at it. My Castle Town - Orchestra Remix

Well.... This is something I didn't think I'd do again. Yes, I am making a 2nd remix for the Necromancer mod AND the remix competition for the same mod. I was able to make this on a HUGE motivation high in the span of 8-12 hours (excluding rendering which took 3) ALL by ear. I also experimented with the "Hardcore" plugin for the guitar sound-font to make it sound more like a real guitar, high pitched notes and all. This track is the first track of my remixing hobby (at the moment) where I turned down the pitch to be in between G and F# (G Half flat to be precise)￼. I HOPE that at least 1 of the remixes I did for this mod gets in so other people can listen to the work I put into these remixes. I hope you all enjoy it. Gates Of Eternity Riprider Remix

After getting the VST titled "Genny" (thank you @nothereboi-2 ) I have been experimenting on it for a little while and decided to make a remix of "Dimetrix"; a song from the album "Dawn of the Dimetrix" by Iris, aka Will Ryan of DA Games. When I heard this song play when I was scrolling through youtube, I knew that THIS was the song I wanted to remix... however I do NOT have a good screamer voice, and considering the instrumentals were not out by the time I wanted to work on this, I had to take a more creative approach to this song. So, I did this with a Genesis synth, fiddled around with the presets and used white noise from NES VST for the screams. Again, Thanks to "NotHereBoi" for introducing my to this amazing plugin. Dimetrix - from Dawn of the Dimetrix - Genesis/MegaDrive Remix

I already did the original, time to spice up the remix. This remix is a remix of UN Owen was Her by "COOL&CREATE/BeatMario" who made the original remix that I'm remixing (that's a lot of "remix"). After experimenting with the "electronic" genre a bit, I wanted to see how I could remix one of the remixes that helped me get into touhou. I also added a few motifs in this remix to other touhou characters, see if you can recognize any of them. This took a WHILE to get the right sound and design for the song itself so I hope you enjoy the song, because it took a LONG time to get right. (Please do not use my remix unless it is with my permission.)

UN Owen Was Her Remix - Vampiric Pyronetic Bullet Hell

Let's start 2022 off right. After listening to the incredible MegaMan X2 remix/battle theme by @rrthielnc and the OTHER remix by @john-tay-2-199198505, I knew I had to remix this awesome remix. After listening to it a few times, I KNEW I wanted to make this song into an Anime OP remix just based on that 1 part in the chorus at 1:15 as well as its chord progressions. The Sega Genesis chip really brought out the sound of the X games and I wanted to try and remix this with a focus more on modern instruments (with the exception of 1 instrument from that same chip). I had a lot of fun making this remix if not for the fact that I love the original X series. This will also be my first time making anything that sounds like an "Anime opening" so any criticism you have would help a lot. . . Enjoy!!!

2nd fastest remix I have made next to "Gates of Eternity", but I HAD to make this remix. Even after sticking around with Atsuover's content after she grew tired of FNF, I still loved her stuff, from "Making day" to "Storm" and even "artist Lemonade". So when "Drowning" came up in my YT recommended, I KNEW what I wanted to remix next (plz ignore all the w.i.p flps I have in my documents folder). For this one, I knew I wanted to have a more energetic feel of the song as well as have the same dnb break used in the original dadbattle but also have something that would fit Atsuover's style of music; so Drum and bass was a good call for this song. I don't think I need to say this but PLEASE check out Atsuover aka @annetix because she makes some pretty cool songs. And if you do see this Anne, I hope you know you've inspired yet another person to make some cool content. Well....... trying my hand at something new. So, if you don't know, "Nu11" is a chiptune artist who has recently made his "w.i.p" famitracker modules public (partly due to things happening irl right now)and after I heard a specific track, "Stuck in the past", from his twitter a year back, I wanted to try and remix it, or even complete the song itself. This little "Chorus short" (even though it isn't even the chorus) is my test to see if I could remix this song and possibly finish what he started. But also, consider this my tribute to him. After listening to "Running out of time", "Suppressed feelings" and playing the adofai chart to "Approaching your fate" AFTER listening to it, I knew he was a diamond in the rough, and an artist to look out for in the future. So, @nu11_ft , if you see this, thank you so much for being the first person to show me what 0cc-Famitracker can really do (like seriously, the early VRC6 tests were frigging amazing!!). OK, time to mix things up a bit. "Remixing an original song by Atsuover that ISN'T FNF related?" I know, it's almost like I might be expanding my horizons or something (sarcasm fills the previous sentence). I really love the direction that Atsuover took with "Up to snuff", especially with the "burn out" themes around it. And so, before I get back into original work and other projects, I decided to make this remix, with inspiration from Zeroxx with their amazing “Making day” remix, so please check them out as well. It took a lot of trial and error to find the right synths to use, but I feel like I am happy with the result of the track. Yeah, this song slaps. So much so the original won first place in the Chiptune Cafe 2022 Fantasy Chipjam along with Eulous and "Story mode Start!". This was my next remix target. Thankfully Nu11 themself put out the DN-Famitracker module, and with the "export channels" feature on DN, I was able to get stems for reference in the remix. I think this would be the result of my "Stuck in the past" remix test giving me a style to work with as well as it being the thing that said, "I can do this, I'm GOING to do this". SO... here it is. So.... funny story. I wanted to do this cover for a long time since it came out, however with midterms and other projects happening during that time, I did as much as I could while focusing there.... then i got sick with a nasty cough when I started to work on it again... UUUUUGGGGGGHHHHH. Anyways. This cover was heavily inspired by my new found LOVE of "Metal Hellsinger"; this an FPS based in hell, where you play as a demon trying to get her voice back... and you have to shoot on rhythm. I LOVED IT, and after I saw Dokuro put up a new song that was metal inspired with the help of SynthV voice bank "Kevin", I knew I needed to make a cover of it. Not a remix though, I have alot on my plate atm. I thought of having my "screams" be enhanced by distortion as to not break me voice from all the tries I would have had to do to even make this cover, so this is what I came up with (god I hope it sounds good to you guys). I have been getting better and better at 16-bit styled music, so making a remix out of a BeepBox song that "LongestSoloEver" did was a nice way of getting back into YouTube stuff (before school starts again fully). For his first time using BeepBox as a DAW, I say he did really well with the software, I wonder what he could make if he had more time to experiment with it. Anyways, SNES REMIX. The same stuff used for the power rangers SNES game is also used in this remix. Why? Because it sounded to coolest out of most of the sounds I have tried with this remix and just decided at the last second to make it a 16-bit remix. And yes, I came up with "LongestBeepBoxEver" because of brand recognition. I hope you all enjoyed this remix. Hey there, Riprider here (Riden for short). Sorry for not posting as much, school and other projects are mainly to blame for this...... but I did also want to get out 1 amazing piece for you all. During the last few months, I participated in the "Fanmade arcaea chart Of Fighters", and if you don't know what that is, Look up the BMS of fighters, think that, but fanmade arcaea charts in a custom program. I was part of team "Sine Fine Stellae", Latin for "Endless stars". This song is the result of envisioning an aurora within or through those said stars. I think the song fit very well with that theme. With a combination of Christmas lights, snow, and DM Dokuro's "Saturn" being big inspirations, I think this is worthy of one of my favorite songs I have written.

Never thought I'd be making something like this now, huh.  This is probably one of the most intense and dark pieces I have ever written, and it was initially for a song contest for an amazing mobile rhythm game. Arcaea was holding its song contest titled "Imagining After" back in October, and unfortunately, I was not accepted to the game. While a little upsetting, I can still share my creation with all of you. So why am I just NOW releasing it? Because I was f###ing lazy with the cover art design (not really, but I put it off quite a bit). Gaining inspiration from various rhythm game songs and artists, including those in Arcaea, to make this insane mashup of styles, ideas, and concepts, as well as me attempting to do what is called a "Rhythm game drop" for the first time, because, this was written BEFORE Cosmic Aurora was made or even thought about. I legitimately hope that this song gets me ever so closer to the rhythm game scene as well as giving me the motivation to continue with this passion for the foreseeable future. Hey there, Riprider here (Riden for short). Well isn't THIS a funny case of Deja vu. here I am, at the beginning of the year, giving you all ANOTHER amazing original song. I really wanted to challenge myself in a genre I have always wanted to do, but never had the chance to do so before; "200Step". And so, this amazing song was created.

This song was originally created for the "Hidden Duo" competition, run by "The Memorial" (the_memorial_) on Twitter(X), where you and your random charter are under anonymous aliases, with the musicians being related to the zodiac... and...... I WISH I could say I made it. Unfortunately I was disqualified from the competition since my unknown contest teammate never finished their chart. Surprise! ANOTHER UPLOAD IN A MONTH!!!! So.... what's with this one? This song was made as a special contest original made for the upcoming rhythm game "Ex-xDRiVER" (Pronounced X Driver), developed by "RILEY", that has been in development for over a year as of now. 

Now, the backstory for this track. I found out about the game in the beginning of march, and I had heard that not only was the game looking promising during it's alpha stages (around 3-4 months into development), but they were ALSO accepting songs from artists, as well as original songs. And considering I had recently been rejected by the Arcaea song contest, I figured, "Why not. If I don't get in I'll at least gain producing experience". And experience I did, gaining new experience for "Happy Hardcore" songs. Even though I did not make the cut for the game last year (again, didn't find motivation to make a song jacket), I'm still happy I participated and gained new experience in a genre I wanted to try. And hey, there's always next time.

Speed-Limitless | Ex-xDRiVER Contest Rejected song | Riprider

This was coming... and you knew it. Pokemon Black and White (and it's sequels) had a "Low hp" track that played when a Pokemon was in the red. Instead of just a square wave siren in the background, they made a new track out of it; but I incorporated it into the song and bumped up the tempo (just a bit) with some new drums. Enjoy!! (again, play it with a pokemon game, but don't put it into fan games.... yet)

Jaden's Gym Battle Theme(Low HP) (original song)

It comes down to this. They’re down to their last Pokemon.... you can do this. Inspired by "The Zephyr" and "DM Dokuro", my gym battle theme and it's variations are finally complete. This last version shows finality, an ending, the fact you are SO CLOSE to getting that gym badge. All that's left to do is finish the job. On 1 hand, I now LOVE sea shanties, on the other, trying to make a remix of one is a pain due to the fluctuating "non-tempo" as I call it. I tried my best at making an orchestral remix of "Dear Calypso" by @cg5-beats . This remix is taking the original acapella and putting an orchestra over it. Like I said, the fluctuating 84-85bpm was tough to work with, but I feel like I got the best result. I hope Charlie himself will be able to see this. Enjoy. (I also want the original song to get the "wellerman" treatment)

This took a while to make. I absolutely LOVE what DM Dokuro has done with his work, so much that it has inspired me to remix one of his songs. I decided to remix "Left Alone" because it felt like a good starting point before I even THINK about remixing other songs. Well..... THIS has been on my back log for around a year... about time I post this. This remix of UN Owen was Her was made during the 2020 quarantine when I had free time on my hands. I originally made this for fun then thought, "I should post this soon", so I did. This isn't the only song I made with Famitracker, let alone "0cc", but I hope you like it none the less. Hey all, Riprider here.... wait that's not right. "Scott the woz" has been one of my favorite Youtubers to watch aside from "The Runaway guys" when I'm feeling a bit down, so I decided to try and remake his theme, "Breakout" from 3D Dot heroes, in Famitracker.
