South African DJ/producer Argento Dust serves up 60 minutes of essential tracks, showcasing his undeniable talent behind the decks. 

Composed and mastered in the Durban’s underground house music scene and recognized as the country’s most underrated house producer and DJ, Argento Dust has been gradually on the rise and has materialized his ambition to become one of Africa’s greatest. His work, which is of high-esteemed stature has resulted in him being featured by artists such as Black Coffee. Having played and performed alongside many prestigious artists and at various platforms, this pioneer that has been chosen to be amongst the Super Africans collective appears to be certain, and has no intentions of deviating from his momentum of being Africa’s next big artists Argento Dusts’ love to make and play music was provoked back in 2010 when he was part of a music collective known as The House Junkies. In 2018, Argento Dust collaborated with Shimza on a track titled All Alone which released in Shimza’s Ep titled ‘All lone’.

The Los Angeles DJ/Producer/Remixer David Montoya has gained notoriety as one of LA’s top AfroHouse Producers. Featured in many record labels such as Defected Records, Tribe Records, MoBlack Records, Cabeau Music, Open Bar Music, United Music, Vida Records, Deep Culture Music, Uncover Music, NULU Music, D.M. Recordings, Sole Channel Music, Tru Thoughts, and many more. His production skills has landed him to the top 100 AFRO HOUSE ARTIST lists from 2016-2018 on traxsource.com. 
But who is he? Raised in Los Angeles. The beginning of his musical journey started in the 80’s and 90’s, he developed a taste for a wide array of musical styles such as Hip Hop, Freestyle, Funk, Nu Wave and Latin Music. In 1991 he bought his first DJ set up and began mixing House and Techno Music. As time went on, David honed his skills in the production studio as well as on the DJ decks and has steadily built a name for himself worldwide. He has played in many local and International places such as RISE (Berlin), (SUNCEBEAT) Croatia, ADE (Amsterdam), UHURU AFRIKA (New York, Boston, Playa Del Carmen MEX), Las Vegas, Toronto(Canada), Chicago, Oakland, SOULEIL (San Diego), Grand Park (Los Angeles). He’s been fortunate to share the decks with the likes of Hyenah, Manoo, Shimza, Djeff Afrozilla, Jose Marquez, Aluku Rebels, Adam Gibbons, Helen Ting, Yogi Patel, Gigi Testa, MINCO, M.Caporale, MoBlack and many more. David also hosts a podcast called Modern Soul Radio, a mixshow that has lit an unforgettable fire in the hearts and minds of Househeads worldwide.

We are RISE, a Berlin based collective and label with cosmopolitan roots. Our members are Hyenah, Walter Griot, AMEME, GHEDI and Jane Ryse.  Collectively our members are from Nigeria, Benin, The United States, Congo Germany, Senegal and Ethiopia. We are heavily inspired by African House music, and equality, diversity and social justice is at the core of our identity.

We strive to create spaces where people can feel safe to express themselves, no matter their ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or social status. 

We aim to distill and deliver some of the core tenets of African music, namely dance and emotion, to provide some color and warmth in Berlin’s harsh grayscale palette. 

Here at RISE we aim to take HOUSE and TECHNO off the beaten path.
