From the build-up of his career, he has released several tracks under international labels like Universal Music Group, Get Physical, Connected, Foliage Records, Sudam music, Afrocentric records, just to mention a few. Vanco has worked with artists including Black Motion, Djeff, Boddhi Satva just to mention a few. Vanco’s songs have been received well on a large scale smashing the dance floors, festivals across the globe & being played in Ibiza, Tomorrowland & supported by International djs.

We are back finally with a brand new podcast and a brand new look featuring Thee Suka!

Arguably the fastest-growing duo in the music industry, THEE SUKA have built their career gradually over the years individually under their stage names of SucreSoul and Kadjila.

Signed under Sony Music Entertainment Africa and managed by Connect Entertainment, THEE SUKA was formed in the year 2020 during the pandemic distress with a specific intention of spiritually soothing the world through Afro House music produced in South Africa to the world. With their debut single as a duo, on the 23rd April 2021, Thee Suka dropped one of the biggest songs titled Mano Mano under Moblack records which led to them receiving international support from Keinemusik, Cecles as well as Black Coffee as his theme song throughout his 2021 international summer tour and on his Brooklyn Mirage NYC Reel video. Having worked with DJ Tekniq on a song titled “Bale Kule”, Thee Suka got the attention of Aluku Records which later released Various Compilation SA Edition Pt. 3 and featured a song titled “Zulu” by Thee Suka as their second offering on the 7th January 2022.

Thee Suka is currently in the studio working on their next projects, the duo’s ultimate dream is to follow the footsteps of their icon “Black Coffee” and be recognized globally.

We are RISE, a Berlin based collective and label with cosmopolitan roots. Our members are Hyenah, Walter Griot, AMEME, GHEDI and Jane Ryse.  Collectively our members are from Nigeria, Benin, The United States, Congo Germany, Senegal and Ethiopia. We are heavily inspired by African House music, and equality, diversity and social justice is at the core of our identity.

We strive to create spaces where people can feel safe to express themselves, no matter their ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or social status. 

We aim to distill and deliver some of the core tenets of African music, namely dance and emotion, to provide some color and warmth in Berlin’s harsh grayscale palette. 

Here at RISE we aim to take HOUSE and TECHNO off the beaten path.
