Firstly most female djs are overrated secondly most can't mix or play to save their lives very annoying to even watch their performances with that said. Cha uyashaya lo sis damn! well done excellent work. Better than most of these Afro House djs.

We are RISE, a Berlin based collective and label with cosmopolitan roots. Our members are Hyenah, Walter Griot, GHEDI, Jane Ryse and Ukai  Collectively our members are from Nigeria, Angola, Congo, Germany, Senegal and Ethiopia. We are heavily inspired by African House music, and equality, diversity and social justice is at the core of our identity.

We strive to create spaces where people can feel safe to express themselves, no matter their ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, or social status. 

We aim to distill and deliver some of the core tenets of African music, namely dance and emotion, to provide some color and warmth in Berlin’s harsh grayscale palette. 

Here at RISE we aim to take HOUSE and TECHNO off the beaten path.
