I had actually had the guitar chord progression for silky girl for a while.I came up with it a few months into living in KL But I had no idea what I wanted the song to e about. So about 3 months later (maybe less) I moved into a new apartment and I was watching TV one night. I think I was watching 8TV,it's like the best channel out of the other free channels.The only one I could understand aswell ,haha. So there was this reality show on and it was about a group of cooperates workers and their like two or three groups. They have to create an event and raise certain amounts of money then the winner doesn't get kicked off the show.
So one of the groups had to make a fashion event,it was all local by the way. So they had to basically organize everything. They managed to get sponsorship by a company called SILKY GIRL. It was a very bubbly,young and fresh kinda event. Anyhow there was this one scene where they had to pick out the models who were going to do the show. Until that point in Malaysia I had never seen women as beautiful as that. I mean these girls were super hot!it was very unreal for me,haha. When I saw the models what I felt was kinda like, 'Hey,I haven't met that kinda girl yet,I want a Silky Girl'. But in all fairness this happened a few months into living in Malaysia. (After 2 years I definitely met some silky girls. hahaha)
 So I was already playing around with new melodies and ideas but once I saw those girls modeling for the SILKY GIRL event everything literally came together. I knew what I wanted to talk about and I think it took me a few hours to write out all the lyrics.&nbsp;
