This is a Mix of our latest TranceDance Ritual, which we conceived during our shamanic retreat "From Shadow to Light", July 2022. I picked some parts to give you a taste. The whole session was about 2h.
All this music was conceived and improvised in "real time" without any edits. I just mixed some of the recordings and did a bit of dynamic processing for the loudness.

In an ongoing exploration of the psychedelic music world, Desert Trax is pleased to bring the ‘The Mycelium Is Remixed.’ 

Consisting of six reimagined tracks based on Liquid Bloom & PERE’s 2022 collaboration with famed mycologist Paul Stamets, “The Mycelium Is Listening,” this explorative collection features our favorite submissions from a remix contest hosted by our friends at Guatemala’s Fungi Academy earlier this year.

After receiving countless tracks from producers around the world, we’re excited to present the three winning compositions by Illusive Tuna, CALAGNA, and Ojhro, as well as our favorite runner-up tracks by Subliminull and Desert Trax artists Spice Traders and Tylepathy.

An immersive blend of styles that traverses the realms of liquidy psydub, deep tribal house, ethereal downtempo, and soothing ambient sound, ‘The Mycelium Is Remixed‘ showcases the innovative work of both new and established producers across the globe tapping into the bountiful resources of the natural world.

Om Ganesha is an original adaptation created by Sam Garrett and his beautiful partner Mollie Mendoza. It features the guitar and vocals of Sam as well as supporting vocals and harmonium from Mollie. This track invites the energy of Ganesha - energy to remove obstacles and clear our path forward. 

This track is part of a 4 track series called Elements, due to release in it's entirety on April 22nd.

‘Elements’ represents a fresh and innovative concept in creating and sharing music as a devotional practice. The fruit of this E.P. has been seeded through a magical constellation of friends, drawn together from the 4 corners of the world. The E.P. is a series of four tracks produced by Mose and bringing in the potent voices, prayers and instrumentation of Sam Garrett, Matia Kalli, The Hanuman Project, and Jackson & Marileen.

It is a release in the spirit of collaboration, innovation and exploration of that which unites us as a global family. Humbly seeking to honor and celebrate the cultures and traditions that have inspired these offerings. By bringing in a wide range of elements, this EP offers the listener a full journey through medicine music, mantra and something in between.

Mose & Sam Garrett - Om Ganesha

Rishi Vlote (DE), 
Drummer/percussionist, music producer and drum event facilitator working in Germany and Italy. Performing and producing with many bands and world music artists like Prem Joshua, Snatam Kaur and Milarepa, etc. He is recording artist, teacher and facilitator of shamanic- and drumming events, workshops and concerts.
Rishi started drumming at the age of 12 and expanded from the drumkit to a wide range of world percussion instruments like, Djembe, Udu, Darbouka, Framedrum, Dun Dun, ect..
His spiritual quest led him to Meditation. He started to lead shamanic rituals accompanied with live music and formed various projects like Rishi & Harshil, TranceFormation and others. 
Rishi has a wide range of experience in meditation, trancedance, shamanic ritual and other self developement processes.
A second passion is the healing sound massage, which he practices in Milan but also during various workshops and concerts all over Europe.
