With the exception of Soundcloud, the German Stefan Fritz keep himself a low-profile and left social media completely a year ago, we don't even know if it's his real name for sure (joke ends). Despite that, the declarated mountain-lover Stefan lives in the Bavarian elevations near the Austrian border  and shares music as other passion.

Physically, this 225th edition was recorded in his basement studio affectionately called BoilerRomm as it is located behind the boiler room where no one can be disturbed by the music. And for over 100 minutes the German DJ somehow is telling you that slow music can also be danced to.

What an out-of-this-world birthday celebration! Utter excitement of bringing a looong set for such an entertaining crowd, amongst all these talented artists in one of the most respected places brought me endless joy. The love and energy this creates is exactly the reason why I do this. Gratitude only.

Originally from Istanbul, Turkey, Tuğçe Kurtiş grew up with a love for music, especially music performance. At age 6, she joined the school choir and started singing. Since then, she performed in countless occasions in Turkey, the US, Brazil, Costa Rica and Paraguay. Tuğçe studied voice, ear training, jazz vocals, and West-African drumming with percussionist Milford Graves and singer & songwriter Sheila Jordan among others. Various listeners have remarked that her voice is "ethereal", "something ancient, calling from the primeval darkness of fairytale". Tuğçe's musical interests cross genres and continents. She has collaborated as a singer, songwriter, and co-producer with Paraguayan musician & producer Santi on three albums: Ciclico (2014), Songs for Another Day (2015), and El Regreso del Gallito (2016). She has also released four singles: Istanbul'a (2017), Donde Va (2016), Sevda Çiçeği   (2016) and Backflash (2015). As the founder of the Kybele project, she aspires to develop opportunities for greater collaboration and broader inclusion of artists from around the world.

Ich werde ja oft gefragt „Was du wohnst gar nicht in Berlin“ nein tatsächlich nicht … ich wohne in einem kleine Dorf im beschaulichen Franken. Liegt wohl aber daran, das ich mehr in Berlin zum feiern bin als in Nürnberg … hmmm woran das wohl liegen mag. 

Aber heute habe ich mir mal gedacht … muss Du doch mal eine Local-Hero aus Franken präsentieren. Gesagt getan … hier der fantastische Podcast von Fabi aka Frederick Traumstadt. Ich weiß gar nicht mehr ganz genau wie wir uns eigentlich getroffen haben … ich glaube irgendwie über soundcloud wie so oft. Aber wir hatten dann mal so ein Hüttenweekend in der fränkische Schweiz für einen Afterhour Sounds Podcast … seitdem kennen wir uns gut … und ich vor allem seine Musik. 

Neben dem DJing ist er auch fleißig am Produzieren und auf seine SC-Account sind einige schöne Sachen zu finden … lohnt sich mal reinzuhören. 

Fabi schön das wir uns über den Weg gelaufen sind … und tausend Dank für deinen schöne Beitrag für diese kleine Reihe.

Elektro Uwe ist zurück … aber nur kurz und nur um euch in dieser seltsamen Zeit mit guter Musik zu versorgen … die Reihe endet, wenn die Clubs wieder aufmachen. Und bitte unterstützt eure Freiräume … sonst wird es sie nach der Krise nicht mehr geben.
