Guided by the vote of the people, Dancefloor Democracy was an incredible 'choose your own danceventure' party hosted spectacularly by local talent Faxable Wax. 

Dub Techno, Power Disco, Straight Local and Wobbly World took the votes this time around. We absolutely loved this concept and highly recommend giving this a listen, it's nonstop good times.

Dancefloor Democracy with Faxable Wax - The Hive Stage - RSF 25

Things heated up quickly Saturday morning when ArchiLo stepped up. Revolver 3181 resident and all-round legend brought only the funkiest and grooviest wax to start the day. The vibes could not have been higher and even if you weren't there to experience it, the magic is unmistakable when you listen back.

Whether you're sipping your first morning coffee or knocking back a cold one after a long day, this is the soundtrack you've been looking for.

Resident Rising Sun DJ A.R.Lloyd brings a good dose of sunshine and radiance on this incredible 3hr journey to open the very first Rising Sun Festival. 

As patrons filtered through the gates it was truly magical to hear the music float through the trees for the first time. Angus played the late slot on the very first incarnation of Rising Sun back in 2020 and since then, has been a key player in getting it off the ground. Don't forget to check out A.R.Lloyd's closing set at the Honeycomb stage that same night!

Procyon label boss AJ Walker closes out The Hive on Friday night at the very first Rising Sun Festival. 

A symphony of progressive rollers and punchy psychedelia thundered through the clearing, punctuated perfectly by the liquid lighting courtesy of MarinateAV. 

Echoes of some of the most iconic doofs reverberated in that space that evening. Whether you were lucky enough to be there or are just hearing it for the first time we hope you love this mix as much as we do.

Milla made waves on Saturday night taking the dancefloor on a deep and proggy journey. Covering a great deal of ground genre-wise this mix flows seamlessly between them keeping the energy high, perfectly suited to the space.

Rising Sun resident and purveyor of sonic delights Seb D opens Honeycomb for the inaugural Rising Sun Festival. Honeycomb was a carefully curated, club-style  dancefloor with a focus on immaculate sound and mind bending lasers and visuals. Truly there was no one better suited to opening this space than 24 Moons owner Seb D who kicked things with an incredible energy. Feel this space come to life in this mix.

Guiding us through warp speed, Reefer Angel kicked things up a gear inside Honeycomb. This mix embodies the smokey, hazy and euphoric atmosphere inside that space.

The final hours of Rising Sun 2025 with two absolute legends of the local scene Anyo & Spinn OD. Conjoined by the soul, the duo known as Love Forever created  arguably the greatest dancefloor experience in the universe.
